Out of the 13-14 BL I've been to, I haven't seen any of the above titles in my previous post. So, I guess it truly is a YMMV for BL.

It does look like some titles are still trickling in. I picked up Advertising Rules!, The Debut, and The Red Dwarf today, and I had never seen any of them at any local stores before.

Ken Cline, I wasn't really meaning anything by the comments I thought I was just commenting with you about the lackluster selection there. I guess it didn't seem that way.
My Big Lots has still not restocked.

Mine restocked some time between Wednesday and today - They had mostly the $4.99 ones already mentioned, and about 5 $2 titles, though nothing I was interested in. Surprisingly they had about a dozen that were $4.00, a price I hadn't seen before. Nothing noteworthy and I can't seem to remember any titles except the recent made-for-TV movie with Brad Garrett as Jackie Gleason. They also had a plethora of 1.50 cardboard-sleeve DVDs, the usual Public Domain stuff. Taxes tapped me out temporarily, so I didn't buy anything.

I strolled in this morning (St. Louis Park BL) just as they were putting out a couple of boxes of $2 titles. It looked like three copies of each movie were being racked and I had them all already. One new title to be "emboldened" on Ken's master list: "Cyborg 009: Unedited and Uncut". This is a two-disc anime title, featuring the first eight episodes. Includes "exclusive character booklet."

I went to the St Cloud, MN store again and they had a couple dozen more $2 DVDs, I only picked up Returner this time, I noticed a copy of Tube which I already had and they had a bunch of copies of the Cyborg 009 DVD docdoowop mentioned.

Greetings!
A friend turned me on to this forum last week. I made my first Big Lots run yesterday and I'm totally hooked. I live in L.A. (Burbank) and even though I got a late afternoon start, I did a sweep of six locations in the SF Valley.
I hit three more on the way home from work tonight. Some places had next to nothing and at others I managed to walk away with some nifty finds.
I've wound up with about three dozen titles for the two days, which is pretty good considering I'm late to the party...
Cool thread!

Welcome Dave. I'm jealous; I'd have to drive a couple of hundred miles to hit six stores here. Don't forget the BL swap thread:

And in case you haven't discovered it, Ken Cline's master Sony/Columbia-TriStar OOP list:

Just for reference:
single discs

and the 2 disc

I'm not a huge anime fan (I like Miyazaki stuff), but, my son likes it, so... I may have to find this.
Thanks for the heads-up docdoowop!

I hit the Lebanon, OH, store after a photo/video shoot for a client, and...wow. Either they just got an enormous shipment, or Lebanon residents have no taste and let these discs sit this entire time, or both. ![Wink](/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I finally found Tube locally, but didn't need it because Ken Cline was good enough to send it to me a couple of weeks ago. They had almost everything else I have seen or picked up, as well as a couple of new surprises like Goodbye Lenin! and the 2-disc uncut Cyborg 009 mentioned above. I guess it's a good thing I've been picking up a few discs at a time at other stores over the past couple of months, as I could have easily spent over $100 at this store alone if I didn't own most of them already.
There were several "new" $4.00 garbage titles featuring the likes of Brian Dennehy and Louis Gossett Jr., too.

New titles! These were just racked at my local (St. Louis Park) store, all $3.00:
The Blackout
Fire Down Below
Looking Glass War
No Contest
See No Evil
Solid Gold Cadillac
Time Code
Wrong Is Right
Young Adam
They also had a re-stock of many previous titles now stickered at $3 (instead of $2).
I managed to resist the 75-80 copies of Charlton Heston's Bible Stories.

I know that one used to be $2. Still a bargain, though. I'll have to hit BigLots again tonight.
