I ordered "Hellboy II" in blu, along with Criterion's blu "The Man Who Fell to Earth."

MWFTE got bumped to December. Will DD ship Hellboy II when available, or will they sit on it until MWFTE is available?

My Hellboy 2 CE Blu-Ray supposedly shipped (according to the order history). I hope it really did! And yes, I ordered it early Tuesday morning before they yanked it from the site.

As will I - but only if the current price holds. Really love the new series, but I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't go one penny over $50 on any of the sets (which is why I currently only own Series 2).

And speaking of the Whoverse, I just made my first ever BD purchase for "Torchwood: Series One" ($43.39 after discount). I'm still using a standard def tv, but a family memeber just gifted me a first gen. Sharp Blu-ray player, so I figured now was the time to start future-proofing my purchases. The BD version being about $4 cheaper also helped in that decision.

I know someone asked up thread, but what happened to the Hellboy 2 DVD? Why was it discontinued?

I am assuming you are talking about the CE Blu-Ray. It wasn't discontinued. The manufacturer must have disallowed it to be discounted by DDD and DVD Planet and that is why it was pulled (temporarily) from each website. You can still order it on other websites.

I guarantee that at the end of the sale it will be available for order.

Well, the first series is up for $52.49 over at Amazon. Not too bad IMHO. With series 3 at $57.99

I planned on picking up Who series 4 from DD (especially with their sale!) but I decided to pick up Best Buy's steelbook.

I'll still grab Infinite Quest though.

DD has the wrong release for MirrorMask (they list it as 12/09 when it comes out 11/18). When I emailed them about it they told me they weren't going to change it. Frustrating.
