The leading zero titles still seem to be coming up as Selection Available = No. For example:

The leading 0s that I fixed this time was the actual entry in the field so that it actually contained leading 0s for selection numbers shorter than 7 chars. The download I made Mon night only looked at enrollment/member status on the enrollment site which does not give me availability. That will be taken care of on the next update for pricing etc on the members site. I have two different updates, one from the enrollment site that essentially gets enrollment vrs members only and takes 6-8 hours and one from the members site that gets pricing/availability/etc. that takes two nights. Doing all would take three nights so I have chosen to do them separately unless I find a way to do it quicker which is doubtful. Anyway we're slowly getting this right and hopefully it will be resolved with the next update from the members site. Sorry for the delay in fixing this.

I also found a few other problem titles. I believe that the ""s in the title are throwing your datamine off,and you're not pulling in all the data for these 3 titles I listed below.

The top line shows your datamine, and the bottom line (with *) shows what the info should be.

I gather the "number of discs" field is still broken, since none show more than one disc?

Broken may not be exactly the right word. What is going on is that the enrollment site seems to always say 1 disc and this is where the information comes from. If they fix that site, the problem will go away on its own. The members site is correct in most instances but I have not found a way to access it there.

Just as an update, I still do not have data for this week. I was updating some things and improving others and somehow broke something in the software so I have been trying to fix it. Hopefully I will have another update to share soon. Once I get the code stable, I hope to be able to give weekly updates that will include price and enrollment changes from the previous week.

Yeah, it looks like you might have a software issue with those "not available for enrollment" titles you listed. None of those look like they ever would have been available for enrollment. I have not checked the previous datamine to see what they show up as there, but something seems a little off. No biggie.

btw, I don't utilize the games listings either. Not sure if you decided to keep tracking them or not.

I tried searching by selection number as well as title while logged in.

Found the answer to my own question: the 'No' at the end of all these titles mean selection not available. Damn.

Yea, thats one of the problems with having items like that still show up. Its a case of not putting any in the list that are not available and give up the ability to see those that showing up early before they are available or see the early ones but also any that still show up on the enrollment site but are actually no longer available.

If you look in the Selection Available column you will see it says No for not available. For those that have not seen earlier posts, it is done this way because I pick up selections from the enrollment site and sometimes they show up even if they are not available. This can mean they are no longer available or that they are new and not yet available. It was decided to leave it this way so people could see those selections that show up and are not yet available. Unfortunately, this means that the ones no longer available also show up because there is no way for the program to differentiate.

Thanks AlfB. I did read the answer you posted above (basaro), but didn't understand the significance.

A tip to those using the database. If you open the file in excel, you can sort by multiple fields. If you simply make the first field column P, "selectionavailable" , these problems will be avoided.

Hi,

Is there a website that can import the csv file AlfB provided and matches a genre with each row? Apparently, the csv file doesn't have a genre column and I'm wondering if there are dvd cataloging system that can readily import from a csv file and automatically associate a title with a genre.
