I don't know what you paid at Target, but the club your average cost should be in the $8-9 range with the club. It's a very good price assuming you want a handful of the Platinums or other two disc edition. Otherwise, not so much.
It's really not much hassle either. Once a month you'll get a packet with your new selection detailed in it. You can decline it by mailing back the card in that envelope, calling a 1-800 number or going online. It's very easy and worth it for the savings. You could probably go through the entire enroll, fulfill and cancel process within a couple months so you'd only have to do that a couple times. If that's too much, the club probably isn't for you.

I still plan to get The Incredibles, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo and maybe Bug's Life and Tarzan.
After you enroll, you won't be able to go through the initiation offer again after fulfillment, right? Thanks for the help smashthesymbols!

With the various Miyazaki titles available now and the OOP treasures, I just couldn't resist joining.
I have one little thing I want to verify though:
Regularly priced titles purchased with a free shipping coupon do count for fulfillment, correct?
I'd hate to think I was all done and then find out I messed out all in an effort to save $6 on shipping...

Another clarification, if I get the $14.95 title and the $9.95 title during sign-up, the $9.95 one doesn't count towards fulfilment? So you still have to buy 4? I read the terms and it said nothing about the $9.95 being a fulfilment.
What is the typical average price of their "regular priced" DVDs? $19.99?

1) Yes (and maybe).
The "maybe" is to your "So you still have to buy 4?" question. That would depend on what code you're using to sign up. The first time I joines, I used 1 4:4 (or 5:3) code, but the more recent time I joined, I used a 5:4 (or 6:3) code, meaning that I got 5 and have to buy 4, but by getting the $14.95 title, it became get 6, buy 3. Factoring in all the costs, the average DVD comes out to slightly under $10 each, so I decided to get the 7th enrollment option at $9.95, as I don't think it's as easy to cycle accounts at the Disney club (mainly due to their limited--to me--selection).
2) Yes ($19.95), but I think most new releases stay at $21.95 for a long time. And maybe those with high demand. For example, I think Finding Nemo is still $21.95. But I think the 2nd Pirates movie is now $19.95.

Get 4 Free with $1 shipping, buy 5 in the next 24 months (starting at $19.95 per DVD), plus shipping and processing of $3.95 for the first title in each order, and $1.00 for each additional title in that same order. Purchase a 5th movie now at $14.95 and reduce your commitment to 4 purchases in 24 months.
However there is a slightly better offer using code 764020:
Get 4 for $1 plus Free Shipping (if you pay with CC, otherwise they are $1.99 each), buy 4 movies in the next 24 months (starting at $19.95 per DVD), plus shipping and processing of $3.95 for the first title in each order, and $1.00 for each additional title in that same order. Purchase a 5TH movie now at $14.95, PAY NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING AND PROCESSING CHARGE. This Bonus Movie will count towards your purchase commitment, so you'll only need to purchase 3 more movies in the next 24 months instead of 4.
Both offers allow you to "SAVE EVEN MORE by selecting a 6TH MOVIE NOW FOR the special price of JUST $9.95 (DVD format only) AND STILL PAY NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING AND PROCESSING CHARGE." This 6th movie is a good deal depending on the movie you select.

There are a few titles that earn more than 1 fulfillment credit but this information is not given on the website. The printed catalog spells these out clearly.
If you want to maximize your enrollment package, post what you are interested in getting and request pricing info. One of us will look up the current prices on the club site for you.

And does it actually say somewhere in the mailing that you can get those as enrollments?
I'm betting they are just part of an advertisement along the lines of: join the club and see what you can buy. Not: join the club and you can get these as enrollment titles.
That's pretty standard advertising, so nothing to get bent out of shape over.
Those titles are very new. Titles that are very new are RARELY offered as enrollment choices in DVD clubs. However, they are available through the club, so you can get them as fulfillment titles.

I have some questions. How come "Cars" is only available in FS? And Pixar Short Films Collection somewhat indicates it's Blu-Ray?
Pixar Short Films Collection
Experience these masterpieces of storytelling from the creative minds that brought you Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo and many more of Pixar Studios. With revolutionary animation, unforgettable music and characters you love, these dazzling short films have changed the face of animation and entertainment and are sure to delight people of all ages for years to come. Now for the first time on Disney Blu-ray Disc in remarkable clarity and spectacular audio enhancement. •NR•
EDIT: I figured out Cars, has to be searched manually. As for Pixar Short Films Collection, can someone please confirm if it's DVD/Blu-Ray? Thanks!

Just became a VIP member and my VIP introduction letter only had the B1 get 50% off. Didn't get any codes for B1G1. Does this usually come first, or do they send the B1G1 code later?
