Disney Movie Club part 5

^The free shipping is for any number of items, even one, and doesn't limit you to one order. Why stress? Make 2 single disk orders to fulfill and get free shipping on both. So you get 2 packages... you'll fulfill with free shipping.

Yeah, 2 orders worked just fine. I really didn't want to deal with calling and price adjusting if I didn't have to. I was just really surprised to get a free shipping offer of any kind that didn't involve buying the double feature. Been waiting on this for a long time.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5
Im debating making a Disney Blu-Ray Club account so I can get Prestige, No Country For Old Men, and Nightmare Before Christmas (all blu ray) for less than $6. The offer is 3 for $1.99 with five to purchase in the next two years. I did a brief skim over some recent posts on here but couldn't find anything about my inquiry. Does the Disney Blu Ray Club offer frequent specials/codes/savings similar to CH? I'm not all about spending $30 on 5 Blu Rays and was wondering if you can get em cheaper through codes as you continue your membership?

^Sadly, there are almost no deals on BR by themselves. Most run $30-$40 for the high end animation movies. Plus shipping is a killer at $3.95 each. The best you can hope for is Buy 1, get 1/2 off offer but even then there is no free shipping.
Honestly, I'd avoid DMC unless you want the exclusive DVD titles. With those, there is a huge value compared to how much they cost in resale from various sites like Amazon or EBAY.

^And the 1/2 off titles does *not* count towards fulfillment. Overall DMC is only a "deal" if you do the 7/2 enrollment and quit. Even then it's not much better than you can do by waiting for sales at amazon, DD, or your favorite B&M. The exclusive titles are truly the main reason to join, and those have gotten worse over time.

^Even with the exclusives I mentioned, almost all end-up on Disney Movie Rewards. With buying codes on EBAY or saving them, you can get the DVD's for around 7-10 bucks each with no shipping.

^The last one I used is 978283. Don't know if it's still active.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5
That's strange, I tried to use the 7:2 code 978283, the Disney Movie Club page comes up as a 7:2, but it only lets me choose the 5 first choices, and one of the bonus choices. It goes right to the address page before I can add the 7th, or second, bonus choice.
Any ideas? I tried clearing cookies and all.
Thanks!

Dunno, I just tried it, and it let me choose all 7 before it went to the address screen. Of course, wasn't browsing thru and choosing movies I wanted, I just picked 7 off the front page to test it, so I don't know if that makes any difference.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5
I just signed up for the Disney Movie Rewards. I was looking at the special offers under member benefits and I saw a different Blu-ray offer. Its a 3:2 offer that you get two blu-rays for $4.95 plus a bonus for $19.95 and then need to buy 2 regular priced blu-rays of $29.95. The average price comes to about the same as if you did the standard 4:4 offer, however you only have to buy 5 blu-rays.

I'm confused. I just opened this month's envelop of offers. The standard monthly Blu-ray brochure reads, "Buy 1 movie at regular price then get 60% off additional DVDs and 40% off additional Blu-ray Discs." Then there is an Easter brochure that reads, "Buy 1 movie at regular price then get 60% off additional DVD's and Blu-ray Discs." The catalog numbers are identical for the titles that appear in both brochures. For instance, let's say I've got a higher-priced selection already picked out, and I want the WALL-E 3-disc Blu-ray with Digital Copy.
5844403 $34.95 WALL-E 3-Disc Blu-ray Hi-Def Special Edition
Blu-ray brochure discounted price: $20.97
Easter brochure discounted price: $13.98
Is there a way to ensure that Disney gives the Easter brochure discount, since the catalog numbers are the same?

My current "default" is B1/Get 60% off/40% off BD + Free WallE Pin. The "Other Offers" I have are "B2G1 Free" and "No Offer".
If the offer you want to use is *not* the "default" and is not available on the "Other Offers" link give them a call and tell the "Cast Member" which offer you want to use.

When you log in one of the offers will be the "default". The other *should* be available for selection using the "Other Offers" link in the "Special Offers" section on the left hand side of the screen. You simply select the one you wish to use.

I have a new theory. If Disney either doesn't meet their expected sales threshold for a new release, or if a lot of people use their web coupons to buy them, they automatically ignore a select number of DMC members' featured selection declinations. We just learned that, despite declining it forever ago, we've been charged for and are soon to be receiving The Princess and the Frog.

I think they do it becuase of the number of people I've already read on this board who just accept it. All you have to do is write "Return to Sender" on the package and drop it back in the mail.

I may be wrong, but they may still charge you for postage. You will probably have to contact them to get your money back.

I'm trying to compile a complete list of the DMC-exclusive lenticular cards. I thought about posting this in the cases subforum's lenticular thread, but I've already got a pretty complete list. I wonder if club members would take a moment to see if there are any omissions that you have, or at least remember being offered.
