The Paperless DVD is free, with free shipping, and gave me a 60%-off additional plus $5 FC each promo, as well. I am not sure if the 60%-off kicks in after the freebie, or if you have to B1 over $19.95 to get it. I don't think you can enter another code to stack. It seemed to function like a regular code, with the banner where you can click on details. I was wary of entering a different code, since I wouldn't be able to get the original one back.
In the end, I got White Noise completely free.

All my old canceled/re-activated accounts are now listed as in-active, and I can't log into them. I guess CH is cleaning some stuff up.
As for the advertising on the site, I'm not noticing anything different. Maybe Norton and other pop-up blockers I have are blocking everything? I just see the small Stocking Stuffers, Buy Now Get a Free DVD in January, and Order By 12/11 for On-Time Holiday Delivery... ads, as well as the standard sale code banner.

I usually don't have funcash to burn, but I've been bad about cycling lately, so I have $26. I can't really find anything that I must have, but would like the Pineapple Express 2 disc. If i wait until the last day of the year, will that qualify for funcash (release 1/6)? I'm tempted to order something cheap just so I can get the cash up 1 more dollar to qualify for a lot of sets.

Whoa. It's been so long I didn't realize you couldn't do that anymore. Whoops. So, does it work for pre-orders the week before (like the way you can get them as a free title in a B1G1 sometimes?)
Nevermind, I just tried it for TDK and that didn't work so I guess not.

Did you not know?... Funcash is good for almost nothing. No sets, no preorders, no sale prices, no hi-def. Just plain ole single movie sd dvds, and then pay shipping on top of it.

Now it has to be spent at least $20 on an item, and has to completely cover the cost of the item. So, no using it on $8 DVDs, or putting $10 toward $17.97 sets. Just regular DVDs $19.95 or above, and you have to pay for the whole thing. And then you pay shipping. $20-25 in FC saves you $1.81. See my sig.
EDIT: ^ Nice timing.

The ONLY thing I like about funcash is it allows me to buy newly released DVDs for the 3 bucks it costs to ship. Triple FC promotions were the only reason I didnt cancel my membership and renew to get more free movies, but now that theyve changed their policy, I may need to re-think it.

The really annoying bit (outside how basically worthless FC is now) is they now use the MSRP for the FC price instead of the Club Price, followed by the "can't use just a few FC $$ on an item" rule, and then the "no box set" change. I pretty much ignore it now unless I just happen to build enough to pick up something. Quite a change from when I used to milk sales like the current B1(any price)/G1(same price) w/free shipping in order to build up some for a box set.

I actually haven't tried it on anything less than $19.95. In the email I received way back when the changes in the policy were announced before the site redesign, I'm pretty sure it said that the minimum usage per item would be $20. Maybe I'm mistaken, or maybe they didn't do what they said they were going to. I guess it's a little bit of a nicer policy than I thought.

^But it still sucks. Your tag is spot on.

This was originally in the Enrollment codes thread:
What did you see when you did that? I tried it a few days ago (before you posted) on my fulfilled TV club account but never got a banner, etc. at the time or when I switched it back the day of your post.

When I was in the communication preferences area, it just showed up as text right above the choices, but it was very nondescript. I can't remember the exact wording, but it was something like "Thanks for going paperless you can select your free DVD here." The word 'here' was a hyperlink, though it didn't stand out as one.

^ Hmmmm.... doesn't show up on mine... anywhere. I either missed it the first time I "switched" and it's gone for good or I just need to wait. No biggie... if it works, then OK. If not, based on the list, I've not missed much.

new question (help)
Last night I ordered a few dvds with the b1g1 blu. Most were pre-orders with the b1. CH charged me for every pre-order I ordered. some of the blus don't ship until feb. This has now made my bank account overdrawn. I can't contact them because of the weekend! Has this ever happened to anyone else? Will it correct it's mistake? Also, my account is overdue, but I had stopped using the bill me and started using my credit card while making payments to my overdrawn account. Using my credit card I had still been able to order on my account but not have to pay until the movies shipped, until last night.

At the time, I thought that I'd get an email about it, or that is was just another one of those codes like the "Get 1 Free Next Month" deals, so I just forgot about it. Then kenbenobi posted in the "free shipping on box sets thread" that he got it to work, and Starman9000 followed up, so I checked it out again on another account. An then I saw the tiny text link. Like I said, they really don't want to give you that free DVD.
