I was able to order Hot Tub Time Machine Blu Ray and get Bad Lieutenant dvd for free. And I got the blu at the discounted price (23.97 I think).

Interesting. I can't get it to work under any circumstances. I even emptied my cart, cleared cookies, and tried the same 2 titles you mentioned. Bad Lieutenant keeps showing up at $7.95.

I'm able to take a Blu-ray(Seven) as the qualifier and get a DVD for free. Still have to pay $4.98 in shipping though.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
I ordered Justice League Unlimited Season One at the discounted price and got 8 1/2 CC free. Something funky did happen while I ordered, though. I was checking out and the prices were fine, and then, during the checkout process, it asked me to sign in again for some reason. I did and then all the prices were at the regular prices. So I exited checkout and started it over again, entering the code again, and this time I made it through with the sale prices intact. *shrug*

I just got an email saying hot tub time machine blu ray was OOS, so it will be delayed. Between this and the wbshop delay, it's looking like one big damn conspiracy to keep me from owning my first blu ray. How can a brand new best selling title be out of stock already?

Everything that's new is back-ordered with them. It's ridiculous. I opened a new account and 7 for 7 are back-ordered.

And I'm happy with what I was able to order. I used it to get Popeye The Sailor Volume 2 for 20.97 and 8 1/2 CC for free. Popeye is considered a set but, because it's only 2 discs, the shipping wasn't 5.99 for the set alone like it is for some. Shipping for both was 4.98 so I got Popeye and 8 1/2 for 25.95 shipped.
And the account should be fulfilled so I can cancel it and start another. Now to find some deals on sets for 9.99 on the new account.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
Currently, CH SHOULD be offering (and maybe you need to use the email link, not sure)...
But going through the email link, I get $5 off $25, PLUS I get the bogo for making a purchase last month.
So I'm able to combine the 2 discounts without doing anything.
If you try to use the BEATTHEHOUSE code, it will override the bogo anyway, so it makes it a moot deal.
It's supposed to possibly off ANOTHER $5 off on top of the $5 off $25, IF it allows you to "beat the house" (random).

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
Yesterday daytime I had a $5.00 off code on purchases totaling over $25, and it worked together with a B1G1 free code I had where the qualifer was $19.95 or more. But last night the $5.00 off code as gone from the web site.
So I picked a $20.97 blu-ray, that I needed for fulfillment, a $24.95 DVD that I got free, then added another blu-ray for $11.97 that kicked in the $5.00 off coupon. Not too shabby

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
I had previously only placed an order that included one regular priced disc, knowing that CH had been counting it as 2 fulfillments, but apparently that glitch has been fixed.
So I had to buy another regular priced movie on 2 accounts. The glitch was nice while it lasted.

Got this in email: 20100717AET1D
"Happy Anniversary - Free Shipping on your DVD order"
"This offer is valid until July 19, 2010! The Free Shipping offer applies only to DVDs and Blu-rays. Boxed sets and Merchandise are excluded from this offer."

Pointless since it over-rides the bogo offer...

^Yep... my feelings exactly, but some seem to want only that and overlook benefits of others.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
Of course then you have $5 s/h charges added on,
which for all intense purposes makes the dvd cost $5.
So, you could buy one title for $20 with free s/h.
Or buy 2 titles for $25.
I can see someone possibly choosing the first option,
especially with those that only want Blu-ray, and have no
interest in buying any dvds at the time.
So, you do make a good point.

Soooooo, does it look like the "no qualifiers" rule will persist for Blu-ray on BOGOs?
It looks like someone posted above that they were able to get a code to work recently with 1 Blu & 1 free DVD....

Regarding blu-rays and qualifiers, sometimes they are and sometimes they aren't.
If you were to buy a single blu-ray for $19.95 or more now (and you can use the free shipping for this), you'll get a B1G1 free e-mail in a couple of weeks. With that coupon, you can get another blu-ray for $19.95+ and a free DVD in August.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
I picked up Doctor Zhivago Blu last month for one of my two commitments. The B1G1 offer that I have in my inbox now allows a BD qualifier + a free DVD (checked it). Waiting though since I have until the end of the month to pull the trigger.
