Well, just had one of those days that every Horror Challenger fears...couldn't fit in a single movie! I only spent enough time at home from midnight Friday to midnight Saturday to catch a few hours sleep---yes, I know a couple of you will call into question my poor use of available time! I'll have to try to work some overtime in the coming days...

I should have taken 5 shots. Wow, was that awful. But somehow, not as bad as I had expected.

Maybe it was the Guinness (my first alcohol in probably a year)....

One slightly positive thing about the movie, I like how they got what sounds like the same voices from the game.

Also, I made some additions to the template, see this post.

I'm surprised how many movies I'm finding among my collection that I've never watched before. I dug out the VHS from my closet and found some gems, I actually liked Warlock 3: End of Innocence better than the original.

Hey guys quick question? Any chance I can count the Yankees performances in game one and two of the ALDS as horror?

LOL

A box. Basically a piss poor packaging job that had the DVDs laid inside with some wadded up Kraft paper on top. It's a wonder there wasn't more damage done because there was absolutely nothing protecting the bottom or sides. And that's especially lucky considering it was shipped Media Mail.

Just thought I'd pop into the thread and see what was going on. I'm watching my 40th horror DVD right now. My collection is just over 1,000 and it's nice to watch some that were blind buys that have been sitting there since last year, and to watch ones that I haven't seen in a long time.

Tomorrow I'm waking up early and watching movies straight through. I have no work, so it's on!

Tomorrow's no mail service is a bummer, I have a few boxes of new stuff due, but now its off until Tues. I might start on the Twisted Terror set or finish off some of the new Midnite Movie releases. I was off to a good start today, but the Mummy's Ghost and Mummy's Curse were so dull, it sapped a lot of my energy.

I just finished off the last of the Universal Legacy Collections... 27 films in 5 days. It definitely helps that a lot of them are barely an hour long.

Now I just gotta figure out what to watch next!

I just finished my 50th movie.

Anyone want to watch Transmorphers so I don't have to?

My arm's been twisted enough. I don't plan on ever seeing it now. If it's like other Asylum videos, I'm sure I'm missing out on a movie that has no consistent audio levels.

Not for all the free DVDs in the world.

And that begs the question:

The Omen remake -or- Asylum's "666: The Beast" ???

I'd rather watch an Uli Lommel marathon than one Asylum movie.

In my defense for owning both of those, the remake came with the box set, and I got a bunch of Asylum dvds before I got around to watching them to know that I don't need another one.

So....does anyone else think Boris Karloff looks a lot like Abe Vigoda?

I probably will check out eventually. I wouldn't really classify it as a horror flick though so it won't be this month.

You and me both. I'm going to start tomorrow with #38. Trying to watch all these movies while maintaining a family life and a full-time job is a tough task. My sleep pattern is already suffering. I have to be at work in less than 6 hours and I'm still not tired enough to fall asleep because I've been staying up later than normal. Thankfully I've got a week's vacation coming up soon. That'll help me catch up and not lose too much sleep.

Yep. I watched Slither tonight. It has been on my DVR since, like May. I almost forgot that it was on there. It was all the way at the bottom.

I loved it! It was like Night Of The Living Dead meets Invasion of the Body Snatchers (meets some other movie where worms invade your body and possess you). I'll picking up that DVD next time I see it.

Hell, if that counts, then I'm counting all the Cubs games I've watched in October.

That was my Friday! I couldn't even fit in a 30 minute "Tales From The Darkside". My list goal was 31, but my personal goal was to watch at least ONE Halloween/horror related program every day in October. I watched about 30 minutes of April Fools Day while at work on Friday, but got busy and never finished it.

Yay!! It's 5:25 AM where I live right now and I'm kicking off the movie watching for the day because I'm off from work. I have to make up for the fact that I can't watch any on Wednesday because I'm getting married.
