DVD Talk Special Edition
I saw this at DVD Planet. Is this a mistake, or is Steel Toes coming out on HD DVD?

The Hoax is coming to Blu-Ray on 10/16 as well.
http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=301
Miramax (via Buena Vista) has announced that they will bring the Richard Gere film 'The Hoax' to Blu-ray on October 16th, day-and-date with the DVD. The film will be presented in 1.85:1 1080p video with accompanying PCM 5.1 audio. Extras include two featurettes, a commentary with the film's producers, and some deleted and extended scenes, same as the DVD.
In the early 1970s, author Clifford Irving (Richard Gere), with accomplice Richard Suskind (Alfred Molina), attempts to pull off one of the greatest media scams of the century. He writes a fake biography of reclusive billionaire Howard Hughes, claiming that Hughes commissioned it, and sells the book to publishing giant McGraw-Hill. Based on a true story.

I would have to concur with the statement above - It was alot like 'Cigarette Burn's' not because CB sucked, but because i was trying to gouge my eyes out about 25 min. into it.

No idea on the integrity of the source website, but I've seen a few blogs picking up on this:
Pixar Short Films Collection on Blu-ray?

The actress is Margarita Levieva...yes I can use IMDB too. Graduating summa cum laude (that's Latin for "with highest honors" since YOU probably didn't know THAT) from college in 3.5 years lets me sleep at night when ding dongs think they're smart for calling out actress mistakes in bad movies. If you come back with "I graduated from Harvard when I was twelve" it wouldn't surprise me since you you've shown the maturity of an adolescent boy who gets pissy over a non-spoiler. I'm done with you so go have the last word big man.

Bug on Blu-Ray 9/25
http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh..._September/762
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the William Friedkin chiller 'Bug' to Blu-ray in time for Halloween.
Starring Ashley Judd and Harry Connick, Jr. and based on the hit off-Broadway stageplay, 'Bug' generated a good deal of controversy during its brief theatrical run this past May for its graphic content.
Despite all the hullabaloo, 'Bug' ultimately got squashed at the box office (having the misfortune of opening against the blockbuster 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End'), but it seems likely to find an appreciable cult audience on video.
Lionsgate will release the icky horror flick on September 25, day-and-date with the standard-def DVD version.
Tech specs have not yet been announced, but among the extras will be an audio commentary with Friedkin, plus two making-of featurettes and the theatrical trailer.
Retail price will list for $39.95
