Hope they fix the English subtitles; the DVD had numerous errors, some of which garbled the meaning of the original dialog.

I almost never buy BDs on release — I usually wait for a good sale price — but I might make an exception for Amélie!

Amelie is fun and I may pick it up when it hits the $15 mark.

I'm just perturbed that we've gotten around to Amelie but not a single Fellini title yet. Hoping Criterion remedies that sometime after October (or someone else before then).

I'm perturbed that we've got So I Married an Axe Murderer but not In Bruges.

Damn Universal and not releasing the crap from April until now that's fallen through the gaps like In Bruges and Charlie Wilson's War.

I for one will be happy to get rid of two more combos and add lossless to the first two Bourne films, but it would have been nice to get In Bruges tomorrow on Blu.

Remember this is an import (though not from "overseas"). Do they typically have sales on Canadian titles, and if they do, will we in the US know about it?

Good to hear about Sweeney Todd. I almost ordered the UK version, but now I may just wait.

Sweet...pumped for the Bourne Trilogy. That will enable me to get rid of the last of my HD-DVDs, along with the Heroes release later this fall.

Actually, nope...will still have The Kingdom.

You seriously think there's a chance that Universal WON'T give the Bourne movies DTS HD MA like they have on all of their other confirmed BD releases? Really?

The Scorpion King will have DTS HD MA. Enough said. They're not going to skimp on audio for BD.

DVD Empire has a pre-order up for Sweeney Todd for a 10/21 release. So I guess Zodiac will be the same day....

I considered dumping Bourne on HD-DVD until I realized I'd be taking a bath on it. I bought them for $50 and all three only fetch about $25 right now. So I'd be out $25 + the cost of the new set(which I'm sure will be quite a bit more than the $25 I'd get for them).
