I remember my mom having B&B for me and my brothers when I was younger. Never much cared for it, but that preview on Up (or Monsters, Inc...maybe?) looked really really amazing, some quality illustration. I'll likely buy it.

I'm sure we'll get another 9 weeks of Steelbooks here in Canada at the end of the year. And then soon after BB in the U.S. will get em, just like last year.

Am I missing something? Best Buy U.S. never carried any of the steelbooks of the first round besides Snow White and Up. (hopefully, I am missing something since I'd love to get the couple that I missed)
It's odd Disney wouldn't want to do more of these. Didn't they all sell out almost instantly? I also can't understand why Best Buy here in the U.S. wouldn't carry these since they were such a huge hit in Canada (besides, the more they create the less the cost).

US Best Buy stores carried ALL of the Disney Blu-ray Steelbooks that Futureshop did in Canada. They were released at Futureshop stores first, however.

Odd. I've seen the Pirate Trilogy, Up and Snow White (which were the pre-order incentives) but none of the others have been available in my area until today with the release of TS1&2 (and I'm in Best Buy at least once a week).
I collect the Disney steelbooks and went to three stores today to finish out my collection: (A) all three stores said they were released today, (B) one of the stores actually had to unbox them for me from their shipment in their warehouse. Also, if you look at the sales on ebay (which is where I've been getting them to this point), all of the sellers have been in Canada.

Inside the BD for Toy Story & Toy Story 2 there was a flyer for Alice in Wonderland (animated) special edition coming out next Tuesday. I haven't heard anything about this, is this canceled or is it still coming?
Also something for the Great Mouse Detective in mid-April, is that still coming? Either way with that one they actually advertise it as having A BONUS FEATURE. Not a good sign for a so called "special edition"
P.S. I'm not happy about having to wait for B&tB until the end of November when all the other Diamond/Platinum's of the fall have come out in the beginning of October, but at least it's coming THIS year
