When I saw this thread pop back up I was hoping it was the Joker-version of the trailer. Oh, well.

Thanks for the pic!

The ads I've seen for this movie bring back memories of advertising blitz Batman Forever and Batman & Robin had.

Man, I really don't know why Nolan felt it was necessary to so drastically redesign the bat suit for The Dark Knight. The one from Begins looks a lot nicer to my eyes.

Perhaps they use the same ol' plot device; new villian and a reinforced suit is better served?

I think the ads are fine; when you start getting "Would you like a sandwich sir? No, I'll get drive thru" Big Mac style stuff, then there's an issue.

LOL! I had never seen those before, thanks!

The Onstar folks should have made Batman and Robin! Then again, I could see something like: Mr Freeze: " OHN STAHR! STAHRT DA HOME KOOHLING!"

I just saw the trailer for the first time the other night (during a trailer-awards show on Spike TV).

Amazin'. I'm not sure what else to say. Nolan is a class act.

That was great!

I've seen the regular-length commercials, but not that mini-movie.

Interesting combination of the franchise elements:

1989/1992 Batmobile
Danny Elfman's 1989 score
1997 'Batman & Robin' Batsuit, repainted to look like the other film suits
1995 'Forever' style Gotham City
1995 Riddler costume and question mark design
A variation of the 'Forever' Batcave

From what I've read, they wanted more flexibility. The suit isn't solid latex anymore; it's more exposed neoprene (or whatever the underlying foundation is) with latex panels glued to it, so the joints are more exposed and the whole suit is easier to move in.

I really hope that can allow some good fight scenes though. Thats one thing thats always bothered me about the films. Batman is one of the best fighters in the world, but we never see it. Just set the camera on the floor, and let him fight 20 guys at one time, using some hardcore moves.

He looks like a goddamn robot in that suit.

You cant even make out the Bat-Emblem, unless you look for it.

Some new footage in the IMAX featurette.

I cant friggin wait any longer for this flick.

Ledger deserves a gold statue just for those 2 seconds of evil laughter after Batman says, "You wanted me... Here I am".

Amazing.

^^Excellent layout, but none of the videos are loading. Must be a browser issue, I don't know.

Seriously, every new piece of footage is better than the last.

I'm convinced that's not Heath Ledger... that IS the Joker!! I don't see Heath at all and that's just amazing
