Ahh you're just saying that to rile him up.

You're just like the rest of us who were expecting 2 hours of smart, ass-kicking Bat/Joker mayhem. Anything more is just icing on the red, white and green cake.

I'm with him, Nick... and it makes me nervous. At this point, I'm expecting a NERD Ben Hur. A Citizen Wayne of epic proportions that will set the bar for comic book translations for decades to come... and that is - in the immortal words of Tom Kazanski - "Dangerous...."

What decade are you living in? This argument only worked before multiplexes started showing one film on multiple screens with many, many showings.

This is truly awesome. I'm so glad Chris Nolan isn't a studio tool. I love longer running times, in this case it probably means more time to develop characters and a good story. When everyone knew about the Joker, Harvey/Two-Face, and all the other characters, everyone was worried it would be Spiderman 3 again. This should be good news for everyone.

I can't imagine this would come out clocking in at 3 hours.

I don't care how long it is... as long as it kicks the unholy amount of ass I expect it to. In the immortal words of Roger Ebert, "No good movie is too long, and no bad movie is too short."

Three hours? That will be fantastic, and that's all I have to say. Bring it on!

As I said about the first movie, it felt like I was watching a 2½-hour movie that was edited down from 5 hours. The longer running time for the sequel should hopefully feel like a more complete movie.

I watched about one minute of it, and then I decided it was probably in as poor taste for the rest of it.

The video was tasteless and not really funny, but I did laugh when Batman put his hand on his head, collapsing the right ear on his costume.

I feel compelled to post a video that counteracts that one.

I'm pretty sure it's Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd, but am not sure what movie. I don't think it's Knocked Up or 40-Year-Old Virgin.

Rudd is Superman, Rogen is Batman, from 40 Year Old Virgin.

For those of you who did the ARG bit where you put in your phone number and got a call from Jim Gordon, this email should be in your mailbox today:

We've identified a group of offenders that need to be apprehended. Problem is, most of these cops are hightailing it out of the city. But a C.I. just like you just gave us some information on their last known whereabouts. Now all we need is to catch them. This is where you come in.

Consider yourself on deck. I'll contact you next week, and let’s just say it's in your best interest to play along. County's not a place you want to spend the rest of your life.
