Is there a place that has compiled all of the other posters in hi-res like that one, or is that the only only like that?

There have been some sweet posters, and I'm glad they are making them available to "collect" via download. HOpefully the website coming up in a few days will be a fully functional one.

That is an awesome poster. Every new bit of information that trickles out just makes July 18 seem further and further away. I know I will be watching this at least twice in theaters!

As much as I'm hyped for this, and as much as I love Batman, it just doesn't have the same appeal as Spiderman. The first didn't crack $300 million, so there's no reason to think this one will.

It's gonna make some money. Thats for sure.
If Hancock, Narnia or Wall-E beats Batman in terms of Box Office then I will have lost all faith in this country.
I cant believe I gotta wait until July for this! I wish this was the comic book movie that started off the summer..Oh well its gonna be a long 3 months. dont even wanna see anything else for this one, not new trailer, clips, nothing. It just makes the wait that much worse.

Wall-E will, simply by number of parents > number of comic book geeks

ETA: anybody mind putting the new poster on imageshack or just putting the path to the jpeg on here, can't get that website at work.

While I pretty much agree with this and don't think the Dark Knight will crack $300 million, if you look at the first Batman vs. the first Spiderman, inflation-adjusted, then it's much closer. Remember the first Batman (Burton's) ranks 47th all-time once adjusted. Spiderman is still 33rd, but at least they're in the same ball park.

There will be a big difference now that this one has a superhero fighting a supervillian. That's what usually brings out the most money. There was no supervillian in the first movie (At least not in the advertising campaign)

Plus the fact that people didn't know what to expect. New Franchise reboot. New director. New actors, etc....

Now that they have proven themselves and are in capable and reliable hands, I think this one will skyrocket.

What are the Vegas odds that the poster gets pulled due to 9/11 imagery? You have to admit, the large gash in the side of the building with smoke plumes in the back ground will probably upset someone...

Visually, it's one of the most stunning posters I've seen in years.

I don't recall any problems with the Cloverfield poster.

Brilliant rebuttal. The other difference I left out is that Batman is far darker and not as kid friendly as Spiderman. Sure, they are both PG-13, but there's just no way parents are going to be rushing out to take their kids to the new Batman flick as opposed to the new Spiderman flick. Sorry, just isn't going to happen.

A great wallpaper would be an extension of the same skyline with Batman silhouetted against it like we have here. And not one of those 4:3 wallpapers, but a 16:9 wallpaper.

Did anyone notice on the President page that each president has a city name beneath them in tiny print? I can make out Los Angeles, New York, Philly, London, Boston, Dallas, Toronto, Chicago, and San Francisco. Can't make out the other 3.

If you click on the portraits there is a message there that tells you to go to some coordinates that are posted. Should be interesting to see what happens. None of them are in my area, so I'm out.

Notice how TRAIL and ER are in all caps... TRAILER.

The Chicago coordinates are at Navy Pier where they have an IMAX theater... I'm guessing the new trailer will be shown on IMAX to the first 300 people.

Gather with 300 of your closest friends at this exact spot on April 28th.

You'll need to be in contact with a partner-in-crime who has online access to relay your instructions once you're there. These instructions will give you the TRAIL to follow, but be sure to look both ways when crossing the street; we wouldn't want you to make an unscheduled visit to the ER now, would we?

Put on a smile and plan to spend about an hour or so bonding with your fellow clowns.

Check back here often for updates or changes.
