I thought the trailer looked was pretty damn good... Im in the minority due to the fact that I loathe Gambit, but really excited about Deadpool and think they nailed the casting with everyone.

Yeah, I was go glad they kept Gambit out of the X-Men series as I think he's impossibly lame and marks the time I stopped reading the comics. I sighed when I saw he was in this one but it's still a pretty good trailer, I'll check this one out for sure.

Emma Frost is a mutant psion capable of accessing enormous[55][56][57] telepathic abilities. Later, she gained a "secondary mutation" which allows her to transform to an organic diamond form with enhanced strength and durability at the cost of her telepathy.

I don't follow the comics so..
Does Deadpool tie into the X-Men world in the Comics or is he his own lil standalone badass who's getting grouped into this movie in hopes of getting the character his own standalone movie?

I can see that. It would end at about the fifteen minute mark after the third time he was knocked unconscious. Hey, they can make it a short.

But we really need to see more of Deadpool (and in full costume).

I've never been the world's biggest fan of Wolverine, but at least he can rip shit up, which is all I basically want out of any of these movies.

Deadpool interacts in the X-men world occasionally, but I am sure this is more of a move to get Ryan Reynolds his own franchise.

So is it Kurt in the block of ice as a child? Can't think of another mutant that has one blue and one green eye off the top of my head. And is it assumed that the other little girl is Ororo?
