It's a very minor thing but I'm so glad they finally removed the lips on Snake Eyes. Looks even more badass. Who's Bruce Willis supposed to be? John McClane crossover?

Liked it alot. The bike with the guns on the side like I had as a toy. The Rattlers at the beginning, the Hiss tank a little later but to wait another 6 months is a killer!

That was pleasant. I would assume that someone saw Johnson in Fast Five and Willis in Red, figured the sequel needed characters like those, and went "fuck it, let's just cast Johnson and Willis in practically identical roles".

It doesn't sit right with me to kill off Duke (and I actually liked Tatum in the role ).
But it certainly looks like him to me and I've seen plenty of films where hairstyling made for such obvious continuity errors. So I'm not prepared to discount it until I see another trailer (and the film itself).

There's a lot in there that looks really great!

Would be surprised if they killed off Duke and/or Team Alpha.

Really, REALLY hoping that's Cobra Commander and not just a Viper...

Watching the first film wouldn't have helped.

Only Duke, Snake Eyes, Jinx (in a cameo with a different actress), Storm Shadow, Zartan, and Cobra Commander appeared in the first film. Everyone else is making their first appearance here.

Also, I think what they might be doing with Duke is

Nope. Firefly is a mercenary for hire. Sabateur. As were Zartan and the Dreaknoks, but they did not work together unless both hired by Cobra for the same mission.

Firefly is the real killer of the Hard Master (Storm Shadow's uncle).

The way the story goes (in the old comics) is that Zartan was hired by Cobra Commander to kill Snake Eyes (whom Cobra Commander blamed for his drunk driving brother's death). Zartan realized he was no match for Snake Eyes so he passed the contract to Firefly.

Firefly decided to use an arrow (which he stole from Storm Shadow's personal collection) to kill Snake Eyes. His hiding spot didn't afford clean line of sight so he used a device that could sense a person's heartbeat. Coincidentally, the Hard Master was privately demonstrating a technique to Snake Eyes in which he could mimick another person's heartbeat. As you can guess, Firefly accidentally killed the Hard Master, thinking he was Snake Eyes (and Storm Shadow was blamed).

Storm Shadow later joined Cobra in hopes of finding out who really killed the Hard Master and avenge his uncle's death.

That thought crossed my mind as well. There was a homage to the 80's movie with Jinx training blindfolded so other references are not out of the question.

there are two groups of survivors (we haven't seen Mouse or Tunnel Rat in this trailer and they are confirmed in this movie) and Duke leads the other team. Then Roadblock's team and Duke's team meet up for the climax of the film.

Okay, in the cartoon was he the one who worked for Cobra and was very touchy about his true identity, or was he even in the cartoon?
