Those poster colors are the same that are in the movie. Lots of blues and violets. Violet color has a lot to do with the movie.

It wasn't shot in 3D. Like all Marvel films prior, it was a post-convert.
However, Gunn oversaw the entire post-conversion process alongside the IMAX DMR process (as the film utilizes shifting aspect ratios).

I would imagine that in a film like this, that uses a plethora of green screen set extensions and backgrounds, converting it for 3D is much different than converting a film that was primarily live action and practical sets and/or already finished.
So much of this film needed to be computer assembled anyway.

I dunno. Avengers may have had more green screen than this. Was amazed at how much green screen in that one.
It's all about the work put into it. Hell, Pacific Rim had solid 3D.

Watching Kimmel now. Watching the main cast together like that is interesting. Seeing them physically there as they are, that'd be a good cast to see as their regular selves.

The cast was fun on Kimmel, though the quiz seemed a little spoilery--kinda wish I hadn't heard some of that. But I'm not sure how much of that stuff is in the move or just the comics.

Ok. I've been in and out of comics for the last two decades but.......
I have All of Thanos' Bronze Age books so this would be quite the surprise, in a good way.
That orange and teal shit has got to stop. Totally ruins those posters and makes the film look generic.

Tom, I think your comic history is spot on, but no way they're fitting all that backstory in the movie. And the version of Drax they're using is a post-Annihilation very-changed Drax, I think the most they would do is reveal what his reason for being is.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking they would cram all that in this flick. Just wondering if the origins were Bronze or Modern (Annihilation). So f'n cool that we are seeing a Thanos plot in the MCU.
