When I see a film I want to be entertained but to also have it be good. Cuz we need more mainsteam good. But also Considering this is an MCU film I'd also have to compare it to how it stands against all those too.

Type of film has fuck all to do with how I compare films.

i just called to get tickets to the Thursday showing next week...it has been a while since I went to see a movie with all the other geeks, at least since my daughter was born (2+ years), so I am excited be among my people...that said, I also haven't had to wait in line to get a good seat in a long time. i always buy reserve seats, but I guess they don't show the sneak previews in the reserve seating theaters until Friday. so I figured if I was going to have to get there early and wait in line, i might as well do it for the IMAX showing and then go see it in the bigger theater later when i can reserve a seat and not worry.

I've seen this in the VG section of Target and etc...but I don't get it. What does buying these things do? You put it on the pad thing and then what? Something about playing in their world. Playing how? It's not a console thing, right? It's like it's own little device, I think. Is there a controller?

You buy the base game fox xbox/ps3 etc. For those that come in playsets you plug in those characters and you play the game levels. 2.0 is going to have avengers and GOTG, depending on what character you put I the base is the character you control.

Some figures come with no playsets, these you can play in toybox mode, think disney + minecraft.

I won't get into it cuz it's just not for me, also from a buisness mindset this is probably good money for Disney.

I think I'll buy the GotG figures cuz those look pretty damn cool.

Ugh. I'd love to see a Thunderbolts film. Bunch of criminals made into heroes. Osborn had his own TBolts and that was very interesting.

How could Marvel not own Bug? They've been using the character long after they dropped the Micronauts license. They only called him "Galactic Warrior" a few times during the first 4 issues. They permanently changed it to "Bug" with the intent of retaining ownership of the character since he looked nothing like the toy line's Galactic Warrior.

Saw some GOTG toys at Target and every incarnation of Star Lord appeared to have his mask on and unremovable. Maybe I missed something, but if it's true I wonder if that's Chris Pratt's choice, the studio, or the toy company. If I was in a movie where there was going to be an action figure made of me I'd say absolutely yes. Anyway, I was surprised.

It might be something where they would have to pay him a lot more if all the toys had his face. They'll have him in a few things but most will have the mask so they don't have to pay him.
