I think you have to have a credit card tied to a google account. Some people may not think of giving away a credit card number to buy something that costs $0.00 as "free."

I re-watched it earlier this week and it really is a fantastic movie. I cannot believe that when i saw it at the theatre that a) there were only about 10 people in the room on opening day and b) my wife and stepdaughter hated the movie. Oh well.

This really is the closest thing to a Star Wars for the modern age (well until the next Star Wars movie comes out). The effects are really top notch and i loved the characters. I know that Marvel gets a lot of shit for its poor villains (minus Loki), but i actually l felt Ronan was a good villain to use. It would be cool if Nebula and Loki teamed up at some point.

I re-watched it as well and enjoyed it more the second time around, the 80s-ish aesthetic to the movie is perhaps my favorite thing in any movie Marvel has done. Great characters (Gamora being more or less the straight man was kind of odd), and just an all around fun movie.

I've seen the movie many times since release day and have enjoyed it each time. I can see how some might have issues with certain parts of it but how can someone hate this movie?

I'm pretty critical of comic book movies these days and thought this was great Sure it's silly in spots, but overall I thought it worked well.

The only thing I really didn't like about it was Ronan.

Seriously though, has there EVER been a movie where absolutely everyone liked it? Every movie has at least a few people that don't like it.

I'm 41 and loved Guardians. Fun movie as hell and Pratt was awesome as the lead.

If you glance at the reviews thread, the vast majority liked or loved the movie.

My dad is 60 and said that Guardians of the Galaxy was his favorite movie since the first Men In Black.
