This Luke pic doesn't look too good to me. I never pictured him to be in that type of jedi attire. For some reason I always thought he would be in a more hobo attire, and not look so pudgy. Probably a picture yet a again for a toy model, based on all the cameras.

Somewhat-related: Thirty years ago, Kenner was working on a "Luke in Robes" figure that never made it past the prototype stage, due to the cancellation of the toy line.

They wound up getting it pretty close, except for the beard!

I read somewhere that Threepio loses his arm in some video game due out soon, and that is how he gets his red arm.

The only major SW games coming out soon are Disney Infinity 3.0 (later this month) and Battlefront (November). To me, neither of those seem like the type of game that would have a plot point that would figure into the new movie.

At least he had a girlfriend.

I guess I fully expected him to be wearing the traditional Jedi attire. I think he looks pretty cool and how I'd expect an older Luke to look. Also Hamill has lost a considerable amount of weight for this film and I think he looks fine considering his age.

I know he lost a considerable amount of weight for this. And I agree that he looks fine based on other pics I have seen of him. I am just not a fan of how he looks in this picture.

The picture isn't the greatest or anything and probably looks a bit odd out of context and without finishing work and whatnot but I still like the overall look I'm seeing. I very much get a vibe of Obi-Wan from A New Hope out of it. He looks like he's been through a lot and a bit like a hermit which is very cool.

The image works for me, but it's just some guy waiting at a register with some Star Wars toys. Is he supposed to be someone we recognize?

Guys, we really need you guys to actually see that your image posted instead of just putting one up and not seeing that it actually is up.
EDIT: Well, maybe it doesn't show up for some of us apparently. Still... there has been a lot issues here where images don't post up well for us.
