I read on The Verge that Drew is planning another "official" poster. This one is more of a demo.

Another possible location revealed from the poster?

Spoiler:

Cloud City? Those are the steps from the carbon freezing chamber on the lower right side. Could it be a flashback scene showing how Luke's lightsaber was retrieved. Maybe it's not a coincidence that there's a Bespin Luke (and Vader) in the first wave of TFA figures.

Struzan has a history of putting things in his Star Wars posters that don't appear in the movies. Look at the 1997 SE posters.

New pic (potential spoiler about the end of the movie):

Spoiler:

Rey piloting the Falcon with Chewie. Dead Han confirmed?

Spoiler:
As much as I don't want that to happen it won't surprise me if Han is killed off in the film. Not that I think that picture confirms it but it seems fairly likely.

Spoiler:
I sort of wonder if those are just figures being inserted into the line because they know two of the most popular characters in the franchise will sell either way. Plus the packaging for those figures doesn't say The Force Awakens even though they're on the same cards as the figures from the film.

Damn. For people who aren't able to go on opening weekend, this development will out all over the place.

It's a shame something that big will be spoiled for quite a few people.

Spoiler:
There looks like a haze effect around the border of the picture that makes it looks like a dream sequence.

So is Daisy the daughter of Han and Leia? I don't think that was ever confirmed, but I don't know why else she would inherit the Falcon if she wasn't their daughter. Also, there is no Leia in that pic. Does Leia die too I wonder? Maybe Han and Leia die together?

The pic comes from a spiral notebook that has Chewbacca all over the rest of it; the haze effect is just the background of the notebook that the pics are laid over.

Spoiler:
I can buy an unrelated character inheriting the Falcon after their journey with Han in this movie, but the fact that Chewie possibly sticks around as co-pilot is a bit telling. But rumor has it they're flying off to find Luke, so maybe he's just giving her a lift? As for Leia, I doubt they'll kill off two of the big three in the first movie -- especially if Fisher is game to do more. As a leader of the Resistance, Leia probably hasn't had any adventures in the Falcon in some time... and it's not even certain she and Han are still a couple in the movie.

Abrams mentioned at Comic-Con that the character of Rey wasn't written to be any particular color, which points to her NOT being Han and Leia's daughter. Still, they've yet to reveal the character's last name and Abrams told Entertainment Weekly that it's being withheld deliberately. Unless she's Rey Kenobi, all signs are pointing to Solo/Skywalker. Given the backstory provided for her character (solitary, tough), it sounds like Rey was separated from any family long ago.

so they'd spoil a huge moment in the movie, if not all of the Star Wars universe/canon on a fucking notebook? I'm just not so sure of that.

I am surprised they're coming out with the merchandise so early... wouldn't early Nov have worked? They'd still have the holiday sales and 6 wks before the film.

In all honesty, that's about the worst kept secret in Hollywood right now. It was one of the first things everyone knew about the new film.

Maybe it's time for me to get out of this thread. I haven't clicked the spoiler buttons, but what you guys are saying outside of the spoilers pretty much says it all.

Fuck. [Spoiler]They're killing Chewie and Leia? Jesus. I'm not even a SW fan but that shit is cold. Glad they're killing Leia though. Fisher is boring as hell to have nowadays. Chewie though. That's sad. At least he went out like champ kicking Han out of the way./spoiler]

Calm down everybody ... In 20 years Lucas will be brought in as a consultant for the Special Editions and it will all be fixed.

Huh, Darth Vader is Luke's father.
