Premiere's Monday and there's a press screening on Tuesday too.

That's why I'm deleting all social media apps from my phone Monday evening after I watch Collider's Jedi Council spoiler-free review.

There's a new Hasbro figure image at this link with somewhat of a spoiler:

Spoiler:

http://epicstream.com/news/Disney-Th...-Star-Wars-Toy

Rey is pictured in her "resistance outfit"
holding a blue lightsaber. Would seem to confirm Ford's lip slip about Ren-Rey duel.

Wonder if we'll get the THX logo with TFA home release.

Have they showed the THX logo for recent home releases?

Meh. Not really surprising at all...

Spoiler:
That Rey is part of the resistance (at some point) and wields a lightsaber.

Frankly I've assumed as much. It's not like they dropped a last name on the character.

And it looks those figures are popping up on eBay, so the "mouse" is out of the bag.

t's the 3 3/4" figure, not 6" one?
Spoiler:

Figured there'd be a 6" black series Rey w/ lightsaber figure for Episode VIII.

Is there any way for to quickly see all spoiler tagged items in a thread? After I see the movie, I'd like to see what was being said in spoiler tags. It could take a long time going through page by page though.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Abrams, 2015) — The Reviews Thread

Got my 9am tickets for the 18th. Hopefully the die hard fans will be sleeping their midnight showings off, everyone else will be at work and their brats in school.

I am going with my brother and parents and we all watched the Despecialized versions of the OT last night and today. My dad kept asking which one had Jabba The Hut and when did Luke lose his hand so I thought it was time for a rewatch for them. I mentioned the prequels and even my mom said she couldn't handle Anakin making rape eyes at Padme again so they were skipped.

Life is all about who you know, and it applies in this case as well. One of my best friend's gf got 3 tickets to a Wednesday evening (Dec 17th) 10pm showing. It's an employee (and their guests) only screening. She offered one to me

Midnight showings start at 7 pm now so it should take care of most fanboys.

Seeing an IMAX showing Friday morning at 10am. Took the day off from work and I'm hoping to avoid a bunch of screaming kids.

Also, what do you guys think will be the avg. review score for the film? I predict it will be around 78% on RT.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Abrams, 2015) — The Reviews Thread

I am taking a mini-vacation and driving down to Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley) to visit my family on my dad's birthday weekend so I convinced my dad to try and grab tickets so we can see it together. He was able to pick up reserved seats for the Arclight theater in Sherman Oaks for a 3D showing at 8 am on Saturday. My brother in law will also be joining us, so it should be a fun morning.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Abrams, 2015) — The Reviews Thread

I got my ticket (notice ticket - one, singular. Leaving the wife at home for my first viewing) for 8:30 am on Friday the 18. Reserved seating at this theater, too, which is totally a bonus.

I'm also counting on workday + school day + early showing to help weed out the assholes that have been ruining theater going for me lately. Looking at you, teenagers...

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Abrams, 2015) — The Reviews Thread

7 PM Thursaday and in 3D 8 AM Friday. Not wild about 3D, but it's really all that was left and I have the day off.

Even though we are going to the Drafthouse, I have decided my food and drink intake is strictly old school. Popcorn and a Coke . . . The first night. If it's good I will be doing shots at 8 AM.
