Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015, D: Abrams, S: The casts of Star Trek, Lost, Felicit
According to a report on Talkbacker (via SlashFilm), "several trusted sources" have confirmed that one possible title under consideration for the J.J. Abrams' directed sequel is Star Wars: Episode VII: A New Dawn, which obviously draws parallels with the subtitle for the original Star Wars - A New Hope, much like Revenge of the Sith did with Return of the Jedi.

New Dawn? Ugh, that sounds like a Twilight movie. Next, please.

I don't know why people get all bent out of shape for the name of the movie, as I worry more about the quality. Star Wars has always had basic names 'The Empire Strikes Back' or 'Return of the Jedi' or 'Revenge of the Sith', so 'A New Dawn' is nothing new.
I still think that the ST will be better received then the PT simply because we can finally root for good guys again for 3 movies.

The only things I dislike more than Star Wars in its current state are JJ Abrams movies. I can't wait for this. Hopefully two negatives make a positive.

Chloe Moretz was asked about potentially being in Star Wars and her reply included "I can't really speak about it". Of course, now every Star Wars message board is full of chatter that she's landed a role. She's also been tweeting about watching the prequels this week. It just so happens (per a Lucasfilm memo) that the employees working on Episode VII are also viewing the previous films this week before pre-production gears up.
Whatever the case, I'd rather she not be in the movie. Love Hit-Girl, but Chloe is pretty overexposed at the moment -- at least among internet fanboys. They could do a lot worse than her, but I'd prefer someone less known.

Overexposed? Maybe. imdb lists 15 roles since 2010, but how many were actually hits that put her in the limelight? Hit Girl. That's it that I can see. I guess Carrie has some potential, but I doubt she's as recognizable as implied. Among fanboys, I can see that, but I don't see how that would change perception in the role as a whole.
I think she'd be great as a little Solo. They could do far, far worse.

If Moretz got it, great. Hope it's a good movie. That's all I want a good movie again from this fascinating world that I don't mind visiting again.

Moretz seems a little young to be Solo daughter. Grandkid, yes, but not daughter.
