I'm guessing the green screen is for the Metropolis ruins. I bet Lex is holding a "fuck you, Superman" fundraiser and the statue comes into play at the end of the movie when everyone loves Superman and the Wayne Foundation donates the "poke you in the butthole" Superman statue.
