Going with Shazam as the next movie? That doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Seem lie that would be a spot for Wonder Woman.

I think we can safely trust WB's judgment in regards to DC properties.

But wait, Batman then hooked up with Wonder Woman in the DCAU too, right? Supes just has no luck at all.

A lot of Superman fan fiction actually posits a relationship between Lois and Lex Luthor. I don't get Lois and Bruce Wayne together, he's surrounded by dozens of other female characters with stronger ties. I've always preferred the scenarios in which Clark marries Lana Lang, his high school sweetheart.

Since the new movie has already obliterated the Lois Lane-Superman-Clark Kent love triangle, they need to introduce Lana Lang as a romantic rival.

I would just like to remind people that Goyer is a hack.

I'm already doubtful that Lois is going to get enough time to be meaningful in this movie, and you want to introduce a love triangle that doesn't involve the main character (Batman) or other superheroes? No way.

Actually, with Lois knowing his identity, the Wonder Woman/Superman/Lois thing actually makes more sense than if she doesn't.

I would rather see a Lois/Clark/Lana triangle than a Clark/Lois/Wonder Woman one.

In fact, even though MOS wasn't the Superman movie I wanted to see, I would much rather be seeing this universe more fully explored without any other distractions (other heroes) now than seven years from now.

They will almost certainly include some type of relationship between Superman and Wonder Woman, likely a dalliance before Clark and Lois get together. They are going to want a big FX shot of them kissing (or more?) in space for promotional purposes. That probably wouldn't happen until the Justice League movie.

Yeah. That shit was played out too long. For all tough and smarts Lois had... She was a real dumb bitch too.

Oddly enough the whole Lois thing was played out much better in the Supes' TAS. Great voice that Lois had.

One of the things MoS got exceptionally right was having Lois figure out Clark is Superman and growing fond of him because of who he is (someone compelled to help even at the expense of a normal life) rather than enamored with a guy in blue tights.

I'm pretty sure the looks, muscles, and super powers also had something to do with it.

Hooking Bruce up with Lois would instantly make it Bruce's best love interest since the Burton flicks.

H.G. Welles erased Lois' memory of what was revealed. However, as I recall, she wrote herself a note of what she learned before he got to mindwipe her. I think Clark (by pure chance) intercepted the note before Lois saw it.

Factoring in how that is the DC Comics movie that is supposed to be starring The Rock it actually makes sense. What is really surprising though is releasing it two months after Batman/Superman.

Re: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) (D: Snyder; S: Gadot)

'Justice' is served with another helping of Superman
Brian Truitt, USA TODAY 5 a.m. EDT July 3, 2014
Henry Cavill returns as the Man of Steel as Zack Snyder builds a superhero movie universe.

Who's better, Superman or Batman? Zack Snyder doesn't have to choose a favorite since he's getting to put both on the big screen at the same time.

The director of last year's Man of Steel doubles down on A-list superheroes in his follow-up Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (in theaters May 6, 2016), teaming a returning Henry Cavill as the big guy in the cape and "S" on his chest with Ben Affleck as the latest cinematic incarnation of the Dark Knight.

By bringing in more DC Comics do-gooders such as Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), the new movie is thicker, denser and more epic than Man of Steel, according to Snyder. And it's also the next step toward building a strong movie universe that ultimately leads to Snyder's Justice League, the supergroup answer to Marvel's The Avengers, tentatively scheduled for a 2018 release.

Now filming in Detroit, Dawn of Justice is pretty much a thrill every day for the admitted comic fan. "It's not an un-fun job, I will say that," Snyder says.

Man of Steel was all about Superman finding his place in the world as both a hero and as a man, ultimately saving the city of Metropolis from certain doom. Dawn of Justice continues to immerse him on Earth by working at the Daily Planet as Clark Kent along with Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and Perry White (Laurence Fishburne). But it also takes him to new environments such as Gotham City and introduces larger threats, including Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg).

Really digging in and evolving the character — both as Clark and as Superman — is a challenge, Snyder says, but there's also "the fun of trying to figure out what to put in front of him that's difficult."

Cavill is definitely more comfortable in the role the second time around, says the director.

"We've both created this guy and we can push him around a little bit," he says. "The more time I spend with Henry, the more he's Superman to me."

The debuting heroes Superman meets will affect his perspective on Earth and on the ones he loves, and Snyder feels his convictions will be drawn into question as well.

When developing Man of Steel, Snyder didn't harbor dreams of one day putting Batman on screen, too — he figured he'd one day tackle an adaptation of Frank Miller's seminal 1980s masterpiece The Dark Knight Returns, which pits a retired Batman against government agent Superman.

It ultimately made sense with Dawn of Justice to add Bruce Wayne and his cowled alter ego to the mix. Because of Christopher Nolan's recent Dark Knight trilogy, "I was in no rush to put Batman in the movie," Snyder says, "but on the other hand it seemed organic the way our story was unfolding to start to feather him in."

Instead of using several movies to define Affleck's Batman, Snyder felt the character's 75-year mythology is so deep in culture now that they can just jump to an older, road-weary take on the Dark Knight. Plus, he says, "it's cooler to see a crusty old Batman beating the snot out of guys."

The director can't say exactly how the relationship between the two superheroes evolves, "but suffice it to say there is a 'v' in between their names" in the movie title, Snyder says. He explains that having the "v" instead of "vs." is a way "to keep it from being a straight 'versus' movie, even in the most subtle way."

Snyder's only done a few scenes so far with Cavill and Affleck together, but the historical significance isn't lost on him, he says. "It's never really been done and it's kinda cool."

Similarly, Snyder also knows that putting the iconic superheroine Wonder Woman on a movie screen is a big deal, too. He says he hasn't filmed any scenes with Gadot as the Amazonian princess yet, but "she's working out and getting buff and ripped."

While Snyder is surprised in a way that fans are already so pumped for Dawn of Justice, he also understands the anticipation.

"You can talk all you want about other superhero movies, but it's Batman and Superman, let's just be honest," Snyder says. "I don't know how you get bigger than that."

Nice pic, looks like Clark made it to Gotham. And I so glad that they are not telling another origin story for Batman. Everyone knows it, just keep pressing forward like the Bond movies.

Re: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) (D: Snyder; S: Gadot)

Per Latino Review (so take it for what you will):

Bad Guys. My kind of guys.

Before we meet our new terrible trio let's first debunk once and for all who we WON'T see in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

Spoiler:
Metallo. Not happening. Not true.

The Joker. Also not happening. If anything the Joker will be in the movie in spirit only because there is in important beat in the upcoming film that pertains to Batman's past and his character arc. Sorry TMZ, it ain't Callan Mulvey. You know who Callan might be playing? Let's meet the first of our three new bad guys. According to sources, here are three secondary villains making an appearance in the movie.

VICTOR ZSAZS
A serial killer Batman fights early on in Gotham City. He usually kills with just a knife and carves a tally mark somewhere on himself for every victim. A real nasty piece of work.

MORGAN EDGE
If I was a betting man, I would put money on Scoot McNairy playing this guy. In the movie, Edge is a total slimeball and a public relations exec for Lexcorp. Basically, he's Lex Luthor's mouth piece. We meet Edge early on when he goes toe to toe with Lois Lane in a television talk show. In the movie's backstory, Edge and Luthor were members of the most notorious gangs ever to come out of Hob's Bay. This is the kind of role that is in McNary's wheelhouse. I just don't see McNairy playing Dick Grayson/Nightwing because Grayson is in his mid 20s in the movie and McNairy is 36.

DAVID CAIN
One of the world's deadliest assassins, 50s, who meets with Luthor's bodyguard Mercy Graves to set up an assassination.

BONUS!

A very powerful antagonist who has yet to be mentioned or officially cast.

AMANDA WALLER
Yep. She's in the movie and plays a very stern and focused senator with an intimidating presence. She doesn't trust Superman. At all. Sees him as a threat and comes up with a counter measure that I won't spoil.

So there you have it. Three bad guys and as a bonus, one very bad gal.
