I would like to see a Batman that is visibly much more physically mobile. We got the idea that Bats was quick in the Nolan films but never really saw him do it.

No one seems to give a shit that Hugh Jackman barely hid his Australian accent in The Wolverine, I doubt anyone would give Bana any grief.

Besides, he's nowhere near as bad as Gerard Butler who seems to be channeling Sylvester Stallone's mouth whenever he fumbles through an American accent.

You did see MoS, right?

They reintroduced "the trinity" back into the Justice League in the comics a few years ago, when Meltzer was writing them hot off of his Identity Crisis. One of the things brought up, and I would tend to agree, is that other members would feel slighted that this "big three" were taking it upon themselves to guide the League, when (at the time) two of them weren't even founding members and one of them was a loner. Robin aside, why would Batman want to go to battle with all these untrained, brightly colored, flashy targets when he's all about stealth?

I can see them setting up a dynamic where none of them trusts each other or wants to work together (well, maybe Barry) and then they come together at the end. Hey, that's the plot of Avengers! But it is the common team up plot.

Wonder Woman would've offed Zod a lot earlier and with zero remorse.

Unless, of course, you're referring to the thousands of innocents Superman killed who were watching the battle from their high-rise windows. ;-)

I'll never understand the love for Bana...I thought he was horrible in THE HULK, horrible in STAR TREK, horrible in HANNA, horrible in TROY. I liked him in MUNICH - but Spielberg directed MUNICH.

I liked him in all those movies. And in The Other Boleyn Girl.

Meh Bana isn't bad necessarily but he never has been an actor that really stood out much to me. He's just kind of there in the movies he's in.

DKR ended perfectly but there's no one that I'd be more psyched to see in this than Bale. I can't even imagine the hype for that.

Holding out for Karl Urban.

And if you're one of those who insist he can't because he was in Dredd...shush.

Bryan Cranston is the danger. He is the one who knocks. And pretty soon, he might be knocking on Superman's door.

El Mayimbe at Latino-Review.com tweeted some very obvious clues that the "Breaking Bad" star is the man Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. want to play Lex Luthor in the upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel — the same film that puts Kal-El on the Caped Crusader's radar.

Urban is Chameleon. I could see him being Batman. I may have mentioned this but I would have more Batman less Bruce Wayne in this particular film.

Cranston would be a welcomed change for a Lex.

@ Giantrobo: so kind of like Superman: The Animated Series Lex? Talking about that Lex, I don't read the Supes comics much TAS Lex is very very good at being an asshole. Probably the best Lex. I wouldn't mind him having Mercy in a Live Action film.

This was taken from the 80s Superman comics, but I think a good Lex would be a combination of evil businessman Luthor and supergenius scientist Luthor.

If they come up with yet another goofy Lex trying some super real estate scheme, I will poop in all of their melons.

Yes! I really started hating Film Lex who we've had since Superman 77, once the cartoons showed me Corporate Asshole Lex.

Hell, I'd even consider sticking Clancy Brown(the voice of animated Lex) in a Bald cap and putting him in this film.

Exactly!! The Cartoons got Lex right IMHO. Power hungry, Arrogant, Genius mind, not just interested in stealing money, and just bad. He wants to rule the fuckin' world and even with all his genius....he can't figure out why the World and Superman won't let him.

Lets talk about something really important. What will Batmans vehicles look like? They failed that aspect (among so many other things)in the Nolan flicks. Needs to be cool and sexy like the Burton films.

He's my number 1 choice. I don't think he can't because of Dredd but I do think it might kill the chances of a Dredd sequel since he'd be booked with two movie franchises and a TV series.

Because practical use of the tumbler is just unrealistic.

The tumbler is easily my favorite Batman vehicle from any of the movies. I really liked all of the vehicles from the Nolan movies.

The weakest aspect of designs in the Nolan trilogy were the Bat vehicles. They took vaguely militaristic designs and made them completely impractical. The Tumbler is the worst Batmobile.

Step aside Cranston - Mark Strong is Lex:

One person who has no problem with you thinking that he might be the next Lex Luthor is acclaimed British actor Mark Strong.

The "Zero Dark Thirty" and "Kick Ass" actor was previously rumored to be the top choice for the villain a few months ago. The other day Digital Spy asked him about that old report, and the response he gave has risen a few eyebrows:

"All I can say is... watch this space."

The word comes after recent rumors that "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston is in contention for the part. David S. Goyer is still currently writing the script though so offers aren't likely to have been made as yet.

http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/281...ext-lex-luthor

I like Cranston but couldn't buy him as Lex, because of the bald thing. Hey, there's Walter White fighting Superman! It'd be distracting as hell. Strong is a terrific actor, though. I like Strong more. Then again, I'd rather there not be a Lex character in the next film but whatever.

Good or bad, if they use Mark Strong theres no linking to Green Lantern.
