Is it just me, or does the cowl in that close-up look almost... furry? Maybe that's not the right word. It looks more like suede.

Did they add the whole suit today or is that CGI? All the pictures I saw were just the cape and cowl without the suit.

Ears are too small and the logo sucks, but other than that it looks cool.

That pic is cgi. Someone pulled it from that mockup image in the 75th mag. Should still be close to what it will look like though I would imagine.

I know it's true to the comic book suit but I wish the Bat symbol was a tad smaller. I really like the design of the utility belt.

I thought the same thing about the cowl having a weird texture to it. Looks sorta odd but not terrible. The whole suit up close looks good but also sort of different than I expected. Not sure if I'm a fan of all the stripes on the gray areas. Hopefully that won't be too noticeable when it's in motion. I also still hate the big ass Bat logo on the chest though. My single biggest complaint about the costume so far. I can't tell is the utility belt black or a dark bronze? I like that it looks like a classic comic style utility belt either way.

That particular logo is really only true to The Dark Knight Returns though. He's had Bat logos that are larger and without the yellow oval on his armor before but not like the over-exaggerated, big one like on the Affleck suit. In all honesty something more along the lines of the logo from the Arkham games is what I'd like to see.

Yep, that's pretty much what I thought. It's different, but I kind of like it.

I don't mind the stripes, but I'm still struggling with the fact that Bruce Wayne, billionaire head of Wayne Enterprises, can't manage to have a supply of suits available that don't look like they have been hand-repaired numerous times.

It looks more bronze to me. But being a mock-up, who knows how accurate it is?

My only guess to the texture of the cowl is that maybe it's made of a slightly softer, more flexible material so that he can move his head around better. It does seem to have a sort of suede texture to it. The only thing is (and this is being too nitpicky I know) I don't see how that would hold up over time unless he has a ton of them.

He always has a ton of spares though, in both the comics and the movies.

Yeah I know. It just seems like it would probably get damaged almost nightly or at least weekly if it was made out of a material like that. Just doesn't seem that practical, but again it's being nitpicky I realize.

Yeah, at the very least it will be scratched and scuffed up easily. But that's what gives leather character. If it's actually leather.

I think it makes more sense that he'd have an imperfect suit than a spiffy new one every night.

No, it isn't. It is an artist's rendition or whatever based on what is known so far about the suit, which is that one pic Snyder released of him standing next to the Batmobile.
