Actually it's Gorilla Grodd in the DC universe and he does not look like that picture. Grodd was actually a gorilla who fought the Flash. The Flash is going to be in BvS because the Justice League will be uniting for the first time. I think the thing almost everyone is missing is these seven characters will be uniting (i.e., UNITE) in this movie as part of DC's cinematic universe. It's silly to think that Aquaman is uniting the seven seas lol. I don't think Grodd will be in this movie but you never know. The Flash will probably be Barry Allen because of the CW TV show but maybe they're aiming the Flash being Wally West instead. But since they already cast an actor for the part, it probably won't be Wally since Wally is now black in the New52. The new Flash actor is not black.

Speaking of colors, there are various colors of Kryptonite including Green, Red, Gold, Blue and even Pink. But the Pink Kryptonite was probably a joke. I mean, really people. Pink Kryptonite? Kryptonite will probably not be in BvS. But maybe it will.

Why are all of you so focused on muted colors anyways? It's like beating a dead horse to death.

If it's constructive criticism time, let me just add, that's it not just taking things super literally - it's taking things super literally and then correcting/arguing with the person that made the joke.

Virtually everyone outside this board is taking "Unite The Seven" as referring to the founding seven members of the Justice League.

It's the kind of vague tagline that WB hopes becomes a buzz term or popular hashtag. Everything today is crafted for social media.

I think some have picked on Taffer unfairly and targeted some of his statements. He's simply an enthusiastic fan that wants to share his knowledge. I understand many movie fans don't care at all that these characters have existed for decades in other mediums, but Aquaman is not a new creation. He wouldn't be in this movie if not for the character continuously being around in comics since the 1960s. That informs and shapes the discussion.
