Gov't still doesn't trust Supes. That's pretty much it at the end.
Unless you want to criticize a great idea heavy script w/ poor storytelling points?

Although I hate the gimmick of the writing, FILM CRITIC HULK had a substantial critique of the main things that were wrong, and just outright awful, with MOS.
If you can overlook the obnoxious gimmick of the writing style, it's really a sound treatise and a good overview of the art of storytelling in general.

Yeah. I think Bats is alone in his motivation. That'd be very weird for him to be motivated by Luthor in any way. I think Bats has enough first hand motivation for it.

Othello is the one that throttles Desdemona, but Iago is the one that eggs him on, carefully nurturing the seeds he planted in Othello's mind that eventually sprout into violence

I dunno. I think Bats is smart enough, flawed w/ his own goals, to do it alone. Luthor may indirectly add some flavor to Bats' mindset without even knowing it.

The cynical nature of Batman is such that he would be one of the first in line to not trust- especially not anyone more powerful than himself. That's kind of seems a given to me.
So he is already pointed in the right direction for an eventual conflict with Superman. Anything Luthor does is simply adding a chorus to the voice already in his head. Like someone in a crowd yelling "Jump!" to someone on a bridge contemplating suicide. The idea is already in their head. The extra voice is a passive aggressive push.
I could be wrong, but that's how I see it going down.

Hate hard-on ![LOL](/images/smilies/lol.gif)
Speaking of Batman never trusting anyone, I wonder if we will ever get a Tower of Babel type of story in the movies.

I loved the trailer. My only "What the?" was when Wonder Woman pops up for no reason. "I'm in this movie too!" But man, did she get a pop from the crowd. I was at the DC booth when they premiered it on the floor and the crowd lost their mind. They played it 3 times in a row and it totally locked up traffic. SDCC staffers weren't happy. I think this was the first time the DC booth has seen a Marvel-type crowd trying to pack into the space. It was nuts.
Not sure if they played it at the Warner booth or not. They were mainly focused on the DC TV universe there.

With Bruce Wayne being much older it had me thinking of the photo Bruce holds with the note "You LET YOUR FAMILY DIE" might mean Wayne is Married and has kids in this version? Having Bruce's Wife and Kid's die would be pretty good motivation to go after Superman.

That gif is awesome. When Zod swings his eye lasers down low, just a little bit to the right and he could have sliced Batman in half.

One thing that bothers me about the teaser (other than the cringeworthy moments that feature Eisenberg) are the messages Bruce receives from

Hmm and it looks like he kills someone in the trailer too during that part, that's surely going to get plenty of panties in a bunch.

I dunno. There is an insane amount of stuff in that trailer though.
I wonder how Batman's fight choreography looks cuz Snyder loves action but he's very just cool visual if it actually has some quality to it.
We'll have to see.
