Not only have I purchased a digital copy of Morbius for my son, I bought him an "It's Morbin' Time" T-shirt which he wore during his graduation party (and we played the movie on a loop throughout the same party). And it was all strictly for the lulz. I'm already all in on this dumb shit.

She doesn't even wear a spider suit in the film until an end credit scene and she's also blind by that point for some reason. ![Bfrank Head Shake](/images/smilies/ohbfrank.gif)
This movie is all sorts of fail other than Sweeney, Merced and O'Connor in their suits for the briefest of scenes. But still not as bad as Morbius.
I have no idea why the suits are liking this and Kraven.

Guess they’re still cool with that ‘A’. ![LOL](/images/smilies/lol.gif)
Of course, now I’m noticing that the very right edge of the ‘D’ is kinda sheared straight off, too (but not the ‘B’), and has been all along. Yay consistency! Or something.
Apologies in advance if that triggers anyone’s OCD.

I mean, fuck it - I pay for the Alamo Season Pass. I'll probably just go see it. Good popcorn, anyway.

I'm surprised to see the Marvel YT post that video.

Isn't that video just the actors talking over the trailer we already saw and explaining what was readily apparent the first time?

Yup, I've seen just about enough. ![LOL](/images/smilies/lol.gif)
I'll give them this though: the letters in 'Exclusively In Cinemas' are much more uniform!

The review embargo for this doesn't lift until 9am on Tuesday the 13th. The movie opens on Wednesday the 14th. That's already a major red flag that Sony has no faith in this. And notice how there is only 1 U.S. trailer with 1 week to go before release? Normally you would see 2-3 trailers for a "major" release.
I guess 95% of this forum will be seeing this in August on Netflix.

Social media reactions after the premiere last night are not good. Shocker!

They didn't even have enough money to buy out the social media influencers? You're right that's not a good sign.

I'll bite the bullet and see this tomorrow (free screening here). I heard it was recut after the test screening last November, that execs seemed happy with.
Maybe they're adding in more time with the girls in costume... or maybe they explain how Cassandra goes blind and gets her costume in the last scene of the movie? I still disagree with the one comment that 'morbius was better.'

Start a rumor that Sydney Sweeny shows her boobs. Weekend opening suddenly increases!
Actually add her boobs...instant 30 million dollar increase minimum.

I’m tentatively planning to see an IMAX showing tomorrow.
I watched John Rocha’s YouTube reaction last night and he didn’t like it at all. He said it was boring with hardly any action.
Yikes 18% now

The Los Angeles premiere was last night. At least the ladies looked good. Dakota had an interesting choice for a dress.
