No Ordinary Familly. It just seems like Heroes Light to me. I might give the first season a try on DVD, as I tend to do better with shows like this when I watch them in constant succession.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

I might be quitting The Office pretty soon. I've really liked the show up until now, but they've somehow managed to make every single character totally and completely unlikable this season.

Plus, not only are they unlikable, but they're unfunny as well.

And I quit The Event after two episodes. Dull piece if shit that was.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

The Glades. The first season was rather mediocre and fell into a formula trap way too easily. I watched the whole season but not sure I will be back for season two.

I am another one for Hawaii Five-O. I missed the past two episodes and doubt I am going to try to catch up. It really didn't do too much for me.

I am going to stick with the Office for this last season with Michael but there's no way ever I want to see next season.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

I dropped Hellcats and The Defenders early on - so far I'm sticking with my favorites from last year.
I suspect this is the last year I waste on anything CSI related.

Me too. I'll watch the series finale, assuming they manage to have a proper one, but I effectively gave up last season - they have not lived up to the initial premise.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Dropped Caprica like it's hot and while I've loved Chuck to this point, it's on alert.

Detroit 187 is still on my DVR record list but I haven't watched it in 3 weeks and I'm not sure I care to.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

quit: Blue Bloods, Outlaw, Outsourced,Lonestar after 1 eps. Glee - 2 confilicts and I really get tired of the "Sue v. Glee" thing. Will probably watch the Rocky Horror ep. though.

may quit: Castle, H-5-0, Defenders, No Ordinary Family, the Middle, Cougar Town, Medium, The Mentalist -- all are OK. I will probably never offically "quit" them, but won't bother with making sure I don't miss them.

There's not alot of things I REALLY look forward to watching nowdays - probably Modern Family, Mad Men and Rubicon. Then the Office, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill. The latter 2 are just because I know the characters, but I still enjoy the Office -- not always funny as it used to be, but I still enjoy it.

And then there's Smallviille, not great, but at least it's going somewhere and will end soon.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Getting pretty tired of 2 1/2 Men but it's time slot keeps me watching. I gave up on Mike and Molly mid-way through the second episode. Tried catching a couple minutes Monday and it bores me to tears.

Don't really like Outsourced but have been hanging in there. Won't worry one bit of they pull it. Gave up on CougarTown. Seems to be a one-trick pony.

Just last night I dropped Detroit 187 and Boardwalk Empire. Really wanted to like them both but just couldn't.

I dropped Boardwalk Empire too. I tried to like it but I ended up having to force myself to watch episodes off the DVR on Sunday before the next episode aired.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

I've only kept 2 new shows...Raising Hope and Boardwalk Empire.

Which only leaves a handful of shows:

Glee
House
The League
Raising Hope
Boardwalk Empire

And a grouping of 'reality' based programming.

Dropped Caprica, The Event, Hawaii Five-0, that show after House.
Chuck is very iffy, have 3 episodes on the DVR. I'm still givin No Ordinary Family a chance. I just like the cast.

This. Except I have 4 in the DVR pipeline and I can't bring myself to watch it -- word of mouth is that it hasn't been too great either.

I did give Detroit 187 another shot and found myself liking it more than I thought.

Better With You. The premise is great but the execution is horrible

The Event. Adios. Already suffered through all this with Flash Forward.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Parenthood. Honestly not a bad show, but every episode consists of one family member deeply hurting the feelings of another family member. Then they're really upset at each other. Then they make up because they love each other. And finally the entire Braverman clan gets together at the end to go grocery shopping or something.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

At the beginning of the season I dropped the Office to make room for Nikita on the busy Thursday schedule, but I think I'm done with that as well. It kinda stalled out.

I'm also thinking of dumping Stargate: Universe. I've been with the franchise from day one but bad and/or boring episodes outweigh the great ones by about 5:1.

Ditto on everything you said. With the rate the ratings are going, it might not be around much longer anyway.

Really? How has it stalled out for you? I thought the last few episodes, actually most of the season have been solid and they have done a good job with the arc of Nikita trying to bring down Division. I've also enjoyed the backstory with Nikita and Alex and their flashbacks. The show has a very cloak and dagger atmosphere similar to the early years of 24. And IMO they did a great job casting Xander Berkley as the central villain. Did you even watch the last 2 episodes? There was a major character reveal integral to Nikita's motives.

Yeah I quit a few eps ago... Had it sitting on the dvr and just said fuck it.

I quite Hellcats and Undercovers already. No Ordinary Family too.
I also quit The Office, Weeds and Desperate Housewives.
Close to quitting Gossip Girl.

Same here, the latest episode has forced me to drop the show. The quality has simply gone downhill in the second season, as apparently the writers would rather push relationship drama than real science fiction elements.

On another note, I gave up on the Event. A mindless action show for the most part in the vein of 24.

Goodbye Caprica. SyFy made the choice for me.
