Sorry all.

I should know better than to get my TV news from a 16-year old in my English class.

An "F" for them.

Thank God I didn't delete the eps!

Quit:
Sons of Anarchy for at least this season.

Hopefully it gets back on track next year.

I hope people that had given up catch those episodes. It was classic Chuck

I'm definitely dropping Hells Kitchen after the disaster they showed last night. I couldn't make it through the first of the two episodes.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Dropped 'The Event' after, for some reason, my DVR didn't pick up an episode several weeks back...we just didn't want to bother anymore, too much effort to Hulu. heh

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

I quit CSI, Criminal Minds, 24 a few years ago.

Burn Notice - It is just so ridiculous now and I hate the Mother and her storylines.
Weeds - I stopped because it is no longer funny
Chuck - Once they got together it is stale (moonlighting syndrome)
Fringe - A good show but I don't like the main character at all, she bores me and has no personality and I don't even find her attractive.
The Simpsons - They've just done every storyline and spinning their wheels.

Family Guy is on the chopping block. It is just getting stale. Every show should just end after 6 years. Lost pushed it, Dexter is pushing it now but it is just getting interesting again.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

When In Plain Sight returns, I probably will not watch.

American Idol really took a hit now that Simon is gone, I don't know if I have enough interest to watch again. I'll certainly watch the first few to see if there's a spark.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Now that the direction of The Event is plainly evident as a clone of 24, I am signing off. Dropping Outsourced, I do not think that show is long for the world. Sanctuary has been getting tedious to sit through, so that is my next possibility.

I've also enjoyed the backstory with Nikita and Alex and their flashbacks. The show has a very cloak and dagger atmosphere similar to the early years of 24. And IMO they did a great job casting Xander Berkley as the central villain. Did you even watch the last 2 episodes? There was a major character reveal integral to Nikita's motives.
Finally got caught up on Nikita couple weeks ago. It did improve quite a bit once they moved the story forward a bit in taking Division down. Glad I stuck with it.

I did end up dumping Stargate: Universe. What a snooze fest. The show has Stargate in the title, yet they barely used it.

Now Sanctuary is on the chopping block for me. Who would have thought Ashley was the glue that held the show together? She wasn't the greatest actress, but she's leagues better than the actress who plays Kate Freelander. Also, the mother-daughter dynamic was more interesting than the mysterious rogue. I know she's been gone for a season and a half now, but that's how long I've been on the fence.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

I'm finally getting caught up on the newest season of Dexter. I'm four episodes in and it just isn't holding my interest like it used to. Only time will tell if I actually end up finishing it.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Now that "Stargate Universe" is cancelled, I don't think I will watch the remaining episodes in the Spring. I've often thought of dropping it throughout the run anyway.

"Burn Notice" is testing my patience, but I will likely give it a chance when it returns.

The Event is thisclose to jumping the shark for me. What happened to flashbacks and tieing the story together?

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

... not exactly quitting The Office but not trying to catch up on the many episodes I missed over the past year. I watched a new episode recently and discovered I had missed almost nothing in the way of story or character development.

I try to get in to it because my son likes it and puts it on. but the score just drives me nuts. It is so loud and grating. It's supposed to be background music to set the mood. If all it ever is is brash it becomes annoying.

I thought it picked up when Julia Stiles got more involved, but not everyone liked Lumen.

Detroit 1-8-7....tonight may (or may not) be the clincher. We'll see.
