This season so far has been a major disappointment. Wow. And it showed so much more promise.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised to see as many promising sitcoms as I have this season. We needed that.

Are the Lost clones supposed to be Surface, Invasion and Threshold? If so, why the hell are those considered "Lost" clones? And if not, which shows are?
I dropped "Prison Break" last night - watched the pilot, thought it was ho-hum and had 2 or 3 eps backed up on the Tivo - baleeted.
Haven't watched Invasion yet, and haven't gotten past the pilots of Surface, Bones, Kitchen Confidential and Threshold, though those were interesting enough to stay for awhile.
But now my old favorites are returning (AD, Lost, Gilmore Girls, Alias, CSI, Joey, W&G) along with new shows I'm enjoying (Rome, Supernatural, How I Met Your Mother) so I think I'm set for the season.

Nothing yet, unless you count Head Cases, which wasn't by choice. I don't watch nearly as much tv as most of you, so I can afford to not give up on a show after only 1 or 2 episodes. To me, that's like walking out of a movie 5 minutes in.

As for the "Lost clones" thing, count me in as another who has NO idea in hell why they are called that. The person who made that up deserves some electro shock.

Bones. That Deschanel chick bugs me. I didn't even bother tuning in last night.
I'll try to keep up with Earl & The Office. Supernatural gets dibs first.
I tried a bunch of the new shows this season and as usual, I didn't really like most. Which is a good thing for me since hockey starts again next week.

Kitchen Confidential, and...well, actually I have already dropped everything but My Name is Earl, Rome (HBO), and Extras (HBO). Extras and Rome are fantastic, and I like Earl enough to give it a few weeks to grow on me. Everything else new pretty much blows.

I seem to think that 95% of the people on this forum have very little patience with all these new shows. I guess the overabundance of Sci-Fi and Crime Drama is a huge turnoff to everyone here.
The only show I dropped was Rome (heard it was good, but my tivo was filling up and had no time to watch it) and American Dad (Family Guy is enough already for my animated fix)
I have never really hated a show enough to drop it, with the exception of LAX last season. I mean that show was horrendous. It lasted 1 episode 1/2 for me.
If I had to absolutely drop something it would be "Surface." I don't think Lake Bell is a good actress and Threshold and Invasion are already enough for me in the Sci Fi genre.
Why does most of the people here hate Threshold so much? Is it because of Brannon Braga? I really like Carla Gugino, Brent Spiner and Charles S. Dutton.

Just Legal and Head Cases (before it was canceled), War At Home, Twins. Giving everything at least 2 chances. If it is borderline and there are 2 things on in the same timeslot (1 live 1 recorded) that I want to watch it gets the axe. So far just these. But I'm surely not gonna watch all the Faux Losts for much longer. Same is going for Reunion, My Name is Earl,

Rome's the only one I dropped... Great production and what-not, I just need to be in the right mood for that type of "period work"... And right now I'm not... Still ejoying the rest of the dumb humor sitcoms...
