Yeah, I suppose. Just thinking "I swear to god, if I ever get out of this coma I'll strangle you" probably isn't that frightening. I guess they were trying to imply that he's the most powerful of all of them if Molly's bogeyman is afraid of him.

The biggest problem for its future, IMO, is that the numbers have dropped AND by now the storyline is so convoluted that no one could just sit down to catch up. You'd be entirely confused as to why certain people were teamed up, who the new faces were, what the overall mission was, you'd give up on it.
Geez, a lot of us follow the show weekly and are still confused on these issues! LOL

I honestly cannot remember a show that has ever tanked so catastrophically as this show has.
Good lord what a complete and utter FUBARed mess of a story-line. I'm absolutely convinced that not even the writers have any idea of where they are, where they're going, or what they're doing. Like someone said in last week's thread, this show has refined the use of "deus ex machina" contrivances to an art form. The writers keep painting themselves into a corner and then just invent whatever they need to extricate themselves. As such, you absolutely cannot invest yourself in the story. For example, when Hiro stabbed Ando last night, I didn't react with a "OMG, how could Hiro kill Ando!". No, I just shrugged my shoulders, uttered a "meh", and idly wondered what stupidity the writers were going to come up with next week to explain how Ando didn't really die. At this point, to say that Heroes has jumped the shark is a mammoth understatement.
Over on aintitcoolnews' review of this show, they quoted from Wikipedia’s entry on "idiot plot":
Well not only have the characters of this show fallen into idiot plot territory, the writers have fallen into just plain old idiot territory. They, along with the show runner, should be fired in disgrace.
For a show that had such tremendous potential, I feel only sadness to finally say that I'm out.

In literary and film criticism, an idiot plot is a plot which (in the words of the Turkey City Lexicon), "functions only because all the characters involved are idiots: They behave in a way that suits the author's convenience, rather than through any rational motivation of their own." Alternate formulations describe only the protagonist as being an idiot.

I didn't think it was so terrible.
I was really hoping Maya would "black eye" Suresh to death. SO sick of him.
I actually kind of like the "bad guys being redeemed and good guys going bad" angle. Except that I agree that Claire & HRG's relationship could actually grow beyond the "I'm protecting you/I don't trust you" riff that's been going on for THREE SEASONS now. Anyway, still definitely interested in the show. It still has its annoying moments, and I think it always will, but I'm not cancelling the season pass yet.

"You don't want to be a killer, Maya! So instead, let me live and I'll only make your life hell as I crust you to the wall to die slowly at my whim and you'll save no one, not even yourself. I mean, it's only perfectly obvious you've managed to control your power without your brother so you don't need to be cured and, in fact, should have your power for situations exactly like the one you find yourself in right now."

Did they resolve what happened with the Irish girl from season 2?
Or that black girl, who is the little boy's cousin? The one that can learn by watching on a IPOD..and then replicate it? What happened to her?

I got that just fine, but what I was worried about was him instilling fear into Parkman Sr. He'd have to have some sort of power to be that imposing.
I can get behind this. But doesn't it sort of fly in the face of what they were talking about testing on infants? Either way, I just want it to make sense.

But that's Groucho's only power - he'll be thinking about it all the time, just like Hiro would be. This happens all the time on this show. Season 1 finale Parkman ran up to Sylar and tried to shoot him, without bothering to take a peak inside Sylar's mind. Reading minds is his only power and he didn't bother using it. That african guy's only power is painting Parkman's future. I'd be just as annoyed if there was a scene in which he was sitting in front of his paints saying "I wonder what Parkman's going to be doing later" and then he didn't bother finding out.

Why didn't Sylar use his super hearing to hear what HRG, Claire and vortex guy were talking about??? It was blatantly obvious Sylar knew something was up, USE YOUR DAMN POWERS!!!!! FUCK!!!
God this show is so damn irritating.

In all honesty here. For the casual viewer (like my Dad and Mom) they are smart people, but they are casual viewers. They don't particularly appreciate
having to stop the DVD every 5 minutes to ask what is going on. The plot, story and characters are such a mess, its near impossible for the casual viewer to follow along. And you know fucking what, the ratings numbers speak for themselves. People are dropping out of this show because its such a fucking mess. Focus on the strong points of this show, and shit can the stupid ass characters. Who gives a shit if these actors won't be getting there screen time. This show has soooo much potential, being just shit away. I would gladly watch S1 over this crap any day.....I truly hope this show gets canceled.

I tend to agree with most. This show is definitely starting to lose it. This from someone who loved the first two seasons.
And I also agree, i'm in love with the fast-girl as well.

Unless they go back on what they've already established, he killed him. The show earlier revealed that Hiro doesn't actually stop time, he just slows it to an imperceptibly slow speed. The speed girl was moving so fast that she could perceive time like a normal person while it was "stopped". Therefore if he had "stopped" time to trick them, she would have caught it.

I cancelled my season past after last week and it looks like I am not missing a thing.
I replaced Heroes with Magic's Biggest Secrets Revealed. At least that show knows how to explain to you how things happen.
