Any bundle that forces you to get Madden is a crime against humanity.

OH and I love that the higher ups at Best Buy can't figure out that you don't need the memory card with the Premium 360.

100% agreed on both counts. Too bad these last couple pre-order-stragglers aren't offering what Wal-Mart did and (gasp!) actually allow customers to pick out the games they wanted. The memory card in particular is a ridiculous, shameless money grab.

The word on the street is that Best Buy will let you exchange them, but not until after the fact. If not, as long as they're sealed, pretty much any store will let you exchange 'em.

That list of bundles is pretty widely circulated, but it's not confirmed yet, so we might wind up having more options available in 27 minutes.

Those are some pretty crappy bundles....why would anyone want a 64MB Memory Unit IF they own the HD. I would probably get it though if I didn't have it on pre-order at GAMERUSH. As stated, I could return the worthless items. (The double RZ points would be nice though...that is like $35 in RZ certs, right? $580 x 2 = 1160*100 = 11600 points / 15,000 ($5 RZ cert) = 7.7333)

So I assume the most expensive bundle is the premium system then with the hard drive. It's kind of weird that the majority of the bundles offered are only for the core system.

The majority aren't -- it's an even split. The first two are core. The second two are the 'standard' (premium) system.

Though again this is unconfirmed, the list I heard for BB Rewardzone preorder makes a little more sense:

Xbox 360 Core System Starter Bundle
Xbox 360 Core System
Wired Controller
Madden NFL 06
$399.97 (300 + 40 + 60)

Xbox 360 Core System Sports Bundle DOUBLE POINTS
Xbox 360 Core System
Wired Controller
64 MB Memory Unit
Madden NFL 06
Project Gotham Racing 3
$489.95
(300 + 40 + 40 + 60 + 50)
Double Reward Zone points

Xbox 360 Starter Bundle
Xbox 360 Premium
Wireless Controller
Madden NFL 06
$509.97
(400 + 50 + 60)

Xbox 360 Sports Bundle DOUBLE POINTS
Xbox 360 Premium
Wireless Controller
Play & Charge Kit
Madden NFL 06
Project Gotham Racing 3
$579.95
(400 + 50 + 20 + 60 + 50)
Double Reward Zone points

still sucks if you don't want Madden, but otherwise, the numbers seem to add up. and no memory card with the premium...

The Best Buy pre-order is working now, but it won't let me checkout. Says it can't calculate tax.

is the reward zone preorder just a popup screen that allows you to do it or is there a straight url that you can go to, I didn't get the e-mail but I wondered if it would still work.

Online only. No pick up.

The URL's been posted a page or two back, but apparently it only works for certain people.

Still can't get past the tax thing.

I dont understand. I am a rewardzone member, and got the email, but why is it asking for my bestbuy.com account? I never actually set one of those up.Shouldn't it ask for rewardzone info, because it's not letting me in....

You need a bestbuy account to pay for it.

If you are at the window and it says the tax is not working try copying the link you are at to checkout to a different browser window.

For those of you that got it to work, is your bestbuy.com account linked to your rewardzone account? Because I can't possibly see how they know you are a rewardzone member based simply on your BB account that has no option to check if you are rewardzone??

I don't think there is a way to link your accounts. The only thing that you can do is enter your reward zone number at checkout. Fuck this.
