So then how the hell does it even know that you are/are not a reward zone member by simply clicking on the link?

UPDATE: She now claims there's a problem in their system and I should "try again later". I then asked her if my BestBuy.com account and RewardZone # are linked so that their system KNOWS that I am a reward zone member when I log in. She says, "Oh no after you click the email link you need to log in as a RewardZone member." I tell her that the instructions say that, if I am a Reward Zone member who recieved the offer, to sign into my BEST BUY account."

And she says, "Yes."

???

BEYOND CLUELESS. I can't believe this bullshit.

Tracking stuff in the original e-mail link. The URL posted here had the tracking bits snipped out.

What the fuck? If this is the case, why the fuck would the link not work for everyone? The fact that there is no verification process in the beginning means it should work for everyone until they actually ask you for your rewardzone username and password. This is fucked.

Do you have the original link then? Because the one they sent me if fucked. I've been a rewardzone member for 2 years, and this how I get repaid = (

Every e-mail had a unique tracking URL. The tracking components are required to be able to login. As I mentioned, the URL posted here had no tracking components. You have to click through from a link in the e-mail for this to work.

I do, but I'm using it. If there's a one-to-one relationship between the tracking codes and the ability to pre-order, I don't want to blow my chances by giving it out.

Ok I understand. If you do end up ordering and it goes through, then if you don't mind passing along the link I'd greatly appreciate it. I can't believe they screwed me so badly on this......

After 40 minutes! Success!

How aggravating. Lists estimated arrival as 11/19.

Kinda sucks seeing as I have to got to work soon and I can't get accest to the internet from their. I fucking hate Best Buy.com. I always seem to have a problem there.

Okay so there goes that theory. I guess it only applies to printing the rewards. I have to do that from my friends pc to get it to work. I have a mac and can't get through and you have a pc. Damn.

PC.

BTW, the console, controller, and game were all listed separately on the invoice, so exchanges shouldn't be a problem.

I got the email and the link takes me to a page which says "The offer page you are trying to reach is reserved for Reward Zone® program members who received our promotional e-mail."

Is there anyone who was also redirected to this page and eventually was able to get in?

I'm trying from work, and wonder if it's a firewall issue...

I got one after 40 minutes. Not too bad a bundle though I don't like spending $50 on a controller.

Got to vent some frustration here. I kept getting the "cannot calculate tax" error message. Now the bundle I wanted is sold out. Ain't it great to be a reward zone member?

I got a preorder from BB as well...

It took me about 10-15 minutes of "can't calculate shipping for this zipcode, try again" before it finally took. I was pretty surprised, actually.

Hopefully, it'll all ship without a problem. With preorders, one never knows.

By the way, I'm working from a MAC, so it doesn't look like it's a machine issue.

I do have to say that these are the most reasonable bundles I've seen. I'm impressed that Best Buy would actually do something like this for Reward Zone members. That being said, it sucks for the folks who couldn't get in or didn't get the original e-mail.

As always in these types of situations I like to get shitty with the company I'm dealing with not that I mean any of the things I say. I'll still be shopping at BB and using the reward zone but after they send me a response no matter how innocent it seems I'm going to really let them have it here's what I started with.

"I just wanted to ask you what the point in paying for your reward zone is when you don't get clued in on all of the "Special" offers in the first place. What kind of a joke is it to offer Xbox 360 preorders to select members? So what it's random? Some 80 year old grandmother that's never even heard of an Xbox gets this offer and I don't? This is rediculous you send out probably thousands of these offers to people who will never use them and yet you just conveniently leave others out, not only does this offer go without notice for many, but it also really aggrivates those who pay for this service and then don't get the "exclusive" offers, I was going to Preorder a couple games for my 360 from you and I would have been more than happy to wait on line to buy my 360 on launch day, but after seeing this kind of treatment of your reward zone customers not only will I not be buying my 360 or any games and accessories from you but I will also not be renewing this useless service and you'll be hard pressed to find me shopping in your stores at all anymore.

Thank you Best Buy for making this decision an easy one.

Nick?"

Next I'll go into the thousands of dollars that I spend there every year and how I've gotten so many people to shop at thier shitty stores but I'm going to tell everone that BB can fuck off.

I really need another hobby

If the premium is sold out then FUCK THIS! I'm out. Time to draft up a really nasty email to best buy while I'm still pissed. Some offer
