Does anyone know if MS sells an extended warranty for the 360? I'm getting mine from GameRush and I know they don't offer one. I thought people bought one for the PSP at CompUSA last year (even if they didn't buy it there)
I'll see what is happening at my GR this week when I pick up HL2 and hopefully my 360 launch games.

From the early review:
I knew it wasn't going to happen. Someone posted earlier that it was confirmed to be an upconverting DVD player, I said MS would have been advertising that all over the place, and they weren't.
Oh well, I'm just happy they are enhancing existing Xbox games, that was something I thought was less likely.
DVD Playback
The DVD playback is progressive scan and limited to 480p It won't output in 720p or 1080i. It's better than the Xbox DVD player's quality and is a perfectly fine solution for the average person. I still prefer my HTPC and scaling to 720p though.

I went to my local gamestop last night. They told me that every store (at least in MA) is only getting 16 systems for the 22nd. Looks like I'll be camping outside Walmart since I'm about 60 on the list.

The Best Buy bundle was 4 (I think) bundles offered to RZ members.
Mine included the Premium system, an extra wireless controller, and Madden360.
There were 2 core bundles and 2 premium bundles. The other stuff included another game (I think PGR3) and a charge and play kit.

I was surprised that they were offering upconversion over component since that's expressly forbidden by the DVD Forum, which, I'd imagine, is why that functionality was yanked.

I thought games were being release today... some places are saying the 17th, others are saying the 15th. I was going to go to BB on lunch & pick a couple up, but don't want to waste the trip if they aren't released yet.. anyone know when the games are being released?

The whole point of the challenge is for when refs miss a call, or make an incorrect one. In gaming, the challenge shouldn't be necessary to begin with. It's a computer game: the refs should make the right call, period. It may be a little fun, but I won't miss the feature at all...

I wish there were refs on the field or on the sidelines during gameplay though.
