You don't need a memory card to transfer LIVE accounts. You can just link it with MS Passport account...should make it really easy.

Unless you get the CORE system

I also preordered at Gamerush. Not sure where I am on the list, but I should be close to #1. I first asked about a midnight launch about 2 months ago, and they said they were, I asked recently (about 2 weeks ago) and they still say they are doing a midnight launch.

I am probably going to call again on friday to make sure they are getting enough systems in, and to verify a midnight launch.

I honestly can't see them NOT doing one, as they have done midnight launches for much less (Madden anyone?).

Yeah, I think I may get mine at midnight IF they have it at GAmeRush. I have a slow week of work that week, I have days to take off too, I might take Tuesday off (I have other things to do too).

Does your GameRush have any games in yet? I want to pick up some this week....just so I can stare at them.

I haven't checked about games. I will probably ask about those as well when I call at the end of the week. It sounds like they should have the majority of the titles by Friday.

I am just worried that Gamerush might not get enough units in. They only need 10, but I have heard of EB's and Gamestops supposedly getting less.

Yeah, I just hope they go by the order they were received...since I was #1, I should be guaranteed one. That is what I was told they would do. I'll check for games this week when I pick up Half-Life 2 (probably my last XBOX game)

Ok, enough with our back and forth discussion back to 360 news

Are you talking about transferring Live from the Xbox to 360?

I'm talking about transferring 4 DIFFERENT accounts to each of our 360's. So at any given time a friend(s) could come over and his account is already on my 360 so we can hop online and play. Unless there is a way to link 360s and transfer data, the memory card is the only way right? This is what we do on the current box. All of our accounts are on each and every xbox we own.

Oh my mistake, I thought you meatn from XBOX to 360. If you are just going from 360 to 360. Why do you do this? I guess I don't see the point of 4 different accounts on LIVE. Can you play as each account when you play...Like if 4 people were playing Halo 2 on your XBOX, do you each have your own gamertag? (I thought you just can have Guests)

If you want to play with 4 people in matchmaking/clan games with your ranking, YES you have to use seperate gamertag/Live accounts, which is why we do that. You can have 4 play on one account, but you can only play unranked/custom games, and every player has the same name.

I'm glad to see Quake is a launch title....I thought it was getting pushed back until December. With 6 launch games, I'll be busy...plus I MIGHT pick up an NBA and the NHL game (reviews pending)

Are there any official dates on non launch titles that will be coming out before Christmas? I'm wondering if these are going to basically be all we have to look forward to till the new year.

A lot of people that won the Pepsi contest here in Canada got their Xbox 360s today, along with Kameo. It was supposed to ship with NFS:MW or Madden 06, but there were delays with those two games, so it shipped with Kameo instead. One of the two aforementioned games will be shipped as well in the next couple of weeks.

I won, but I doubt I will get mine today, since I live on the East Coast. I am going away on Wednesday, so I probably won't get it until I am back in December.

MS said 25-40 titles within the first 3 months. ATM, the only title I'm expecting to come out before the end of 2006 is DOA4. But I wouldn't be suprised to see Top Spin 2 or College Hoops 2K6 sneak in.

Before the end of 2006? God I hope they get some out before then, otherwise this is looking to be a very poor investment.

Yep, I think DOA4 is now slated for 12/1. Hoops and TS2 have 1/1/06 release dates. A handful of other titles have 1/31/06 dates.

I hope Top Spin lives up to the XBOX version. I guess 2K sports really f'd up the PS2 version....slowdown and other issues. I'll probably pass on it though....we'll see.

Wow, I thought Full Auto was going to be a launch "window" game too...oh well. Still a good launch. Not sure what other games I'll want...hopefully a few more come out between launch and X-mas. (Looks like DOA might be the only one)

well the way I see it is Full Auto was supposed to be released first but the release date on Chromehounds is Spring 2006 while the release date for full auto is TBA 2006, so however you read that; I guess it could mean January, but how many people really want their game releasing in spring, ummmm hello halo3s gonna kick your ass.

Man, I can't believe they are sending those out a week early. That's really frustrating for the rest of us patiently waiting!
