Serious issues with the patch for me so far. It gets to 126 out of 151mb and just stops dead.

Also....none of Blizzard or WoW main sites are working for assistance help or even to check their forums for suggestions.

I did some online research and found out that whatever you got stuck at during the download was where the patch had downloaded previous to this. The Blizzard downloader auto downloads the patch (up to a certain point) hours and days before its released...then once its officially released you download the rest. This is done so that their servers don't get hit as HARD the day of release.

I had to UNinstall Norton and install the patch then RE-install Norton. I'm about done with Norton.

Either way I'm playing again...hit 24 with my Warlock today and got my Succubus last night...took me 2+ hours for the trip from StormWind all alone...but seems to be worth it

download the patch for over an hour only to get on and can't log into my server

did they have to nerf rogues? I finally have a high level one and now they suck.

Everyone who has been downloading in the background before yesterday would have 126MB already downloaded. So when you fired up the patch download yesterday, you would already have 126MB, and it would look like you're stuck there, but you're actually just starting to download stuff beyond the 126MB you've already downloaded.

If you are talking about the "nerf" (more like bug fix) to vanish, I hardly see how that makes a rogue suck now. Anyway, the revamp for Rogues will be next patch, although, they have already said not to expect any big changes for them.

I got my free mage respec and went mostly into frost. the rest in arcane so i could get improved counter spell. but now i think i'm going to respec again and put it all in frost. My guild hit up Zul Gurrub for the first time as a guild. we took out the snake and bat bosses. Theres another frost mage in the group and we were doing massive damage once 5 winter chills stacked up. I got like 5 crits in a row off a big troll. Also ice barrier every 30 seconds is great.

I was one of about 200 people who were actually able to get on Burning Legion server on patch day. I knew the login server was busted, so decided to call in from work and make the most of it. Me and 11 other guildies capped about 90% of the necrotic shards. We just made our way around the invasion points for about 10 hours. Then they reset the server about 5 times in a 20 minute period. Each time, I was up long enought to kill the silver rare spawns at the shard site, and when it reset again, the rare would be back. I only wish I waS Able to disenchant all those blues. I got thousands of rep, and ended with about 800 necrotic runes. I guess I'll be stocked on mana potions for a long time!

My guild hit Zul Gurrub for the second time last night and took out the bat, snake and bloodlord bosses on our first try. I got my primal hakari so i can get the illusionist bracer when i get friendly rep. I had respecced to 49 points in frost and topped the damage charts without pulling aggro once.
My warrior hit 51 and i got into a winning game of AV and got the ice barbed spear. pretty nice weapon for a 51.
Its a completely different game once you hit 60. its crazy how much there is to do.

My Warlock is at level 31 and doing great.

I've spent ALOT of time grinding out levels with a very low level guild that had noone that could help. Left them with a few others and started our own mid level guild. Things are going better. Hitting some good mid level quests and getting a good feel for the game. Not bad for 2-3 weeks I guess.

I'm hoping for 35 by the end of the upcoming weekend.

I tell you....www.google.com is your friend as far as some of these quests go. Locations, etc.

yeah, thottbot.com will be your best friend. you just put in the quest or item name and it comes up with tons of info on it. Some quests are impossible without it.
Our guild has 2 ZG runs this week. we'll have to get people to start getting FR gear and start trying out MC soon. its a very exciting time right now.

FYI, MC is entirely possible for the most part with just the MT in fire res gear. And that's even for only a handful of trash mobs, namely the fire elemental mobs. You can do every fight in MC with minimal fire res gear except for the last boss. Of course, the more FR gear the raid has, the faster MC goes:P Good to see you're having lotsa fun in ZG! I love that place as well

ZG is a good time. We're progressing through there now. Got Snake, Bat, Spider, Bloodlord and Tiger pretty much on farm status now. Having a hell of a time with the Panther boss.

We're trying to get MC going too, but we're having trouble getting 40 people to show up for raids. I think we've taken down the first 4 bosses in there, but only once. Yeah, there is a shit-ton of stuff to do at 60. Between raids, PvP, 5-man dungeons and farming for mats for repair bots and stuff, I'm busy all the time.
