Man, EA is a piece of work. Just got my RMA drums, and it's an EL set (which will probably mean the Official Silencers won't work very well). Honestly, no big deal as long as the drums work.
So that doesn't bother me nearly as much as what are clearly a bunch of dents in the heads from stick hits. They say that there is no refurb program and any marks are from quality testing. If that's true, someone obviously used Run to the Hills to quality test mine.

Kotaku is reporting that RB2 is starting to show up in retailer databases with a November 2008 ship date. If true (and likely), this could be another reason why the DLC is lacking more "mainstream" artists and songs. Gotta have meat on a retail disc.

I'm thinking of reworking the DLC post. I keep track of a lot of RB stuff in Excel (my top scores, note streaks, DLC spending, etc.), so it wouldn't take much additional work to add in another worksheet and put all of general DLC information in there.
Is there anything in the DLC post now that isn't needed? Or what are some additional things I could do to make it easier to work with? I know someone mentioned having chronological DLC options (to see what they've missed). Anything else?

Different strokes for different folks, it seems.

Well, anyone that wants it but is on the fence, I'll Paypal you $1.00 if you don't like the song. Just send me a message via Xbox.
* Offer limited to first 5-10 friends. If I don't see your score on the song's leaderboard within a week, I will publicly call you out.

At all costs stay far away from the Blockhead - Rock Band Hit Kit. I picked one up yesterday, and once I covered the drum pads with the foam covers I kept dropping notes. When I removed them I didn't have a problem. They also come with replacement drum sticks which makes it feel like your carrying 2 bricks in your hands. I have yet to try the bass pedal which came with the set also, but no doubt it will suck too. I knew I should have picked up the official Rock Band dampeners.

"Girls Who Play Guitars" is currently $2/160 MSP on the Marketplace. HMX is looking into it, as it is supposed to be a $1/80 MSP track. I think if you buy it now, you're pretty much out of a dollar, as MS is probably not going to reimburse you without calling in and begging for it back. Hopefully it'll be fixed later today or tomorrow for you guys.
EDIT:
Definitely a mistake.
