Played a little bit with streaming to my Windows 10 desktop. Worked pretty well, although I lowered the quality to medium to make it a little smoother. Pretty impressive, and nice with the fiancee outside watching TV allowing me to play the XBox in another room. Makes me want to get a nicer router to have a stronger connection for better quality.

This may be helpful, if you get a good router:

I'm still trying to figure out what the advantages of streaming xb1 to PC are. Do games look better on the speed of your internet? I'm more interested in PC to XB1 so I can watch movies I have on my PC.

I've tried the hidden 'Very High' quality setting for streaming, it's not really up to par yet.
Streaming bitrate averages around 15-20 mbps, there's less of an image quality downgrade than the lower settings.
Unfortunately framerate fluctuates wildly, a game where quick twitch controller moves i.e. FPS or fighting games don't fare well on it.

I thought the main appeal would be for streaming in a room other than where your XB1 is. Similar to the Playstation 4 Remote Play streaming to a Vita or PSTV, or playing WiiU games on the controller screen only. So say the TV is occupied, you could go into another room and play XB1 on your desktop PC, or on a laptop or Windows 10 tablet in the same room even.

Yeah, i'm surprised there hasn't been more titles as well. Although I recall they did release an update for Rare Replay, so that might have been the focus since it was a new retail release.

And they better bring it in a strong fashion. Twenty four official titles when they claimed a couple hundred at least is not going to cut it. People will get frustrated especially when titles like RDR or anything Activision (COD) are not part of the list because the publishers are playing hardball or refusing to participate.

Wikipedia has a list of BC titles. 4 titles have been added in August so far:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o..._with_Xbox_One
Yes. They said over 100 titles will be available by the general release this November.

With over 100 titles slated for this fall...
When backward compatibility launches in November, all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will be playable on Xbox One.

Wikipedia lists 7 more titles expected to be coming (tie-in bonuses for upcoming games like GoW and Rainbow six), which brings the total to 32 "known" games at the moment. They basically have about 3 months to release at least 69 more titles.

I thought all the Rare Replay titles had been part of the original launch, but it looks like Nuts & Bolts was added when Rare Replay was released.

Seems plausible. Frankly if I were MS, I would have held it back as a bulk surprise. Doing it in stages like this is great for us that are currently using BC, but coming out with a list of 50+ titles all at once and announcing "In todays Fall Xbox One update" or whatever it may be generally causes more excitement, which is a huge win around Black Friday.
Plus, the general release of BC for all Xbox One users will be a point that they can drive publicity for the feature again, and having a large catalog ready on that release date will help it.

For someone interested in buying an Xbox One with the upcoming slate of sports games coming out. Should I wait? Do you this better deals will start coming in the next couple months?

There will obviously be deals again for Black Friday if you can wait that long. Otherwise there still seems to be offers every few weeks throwing in various free games, Live subscriptions, or gift cards/credit, so it really depends on how long you want to wait and if there's something you want to play right away.

Just wasn't aware if there's a certain price point or type of offer out there I should hold out for.

Last BF I got the Assassins's Creed bundle for $329 and it came with a $70 target gift card. I was also able to use my red card and a pharmacy coupon to knock it down another 10%. I don't know if we'll see deals like that again since MS seem to be in a slightly better position, but between the different bundles with games and/or gift cards, I could see a $300 bundle.
If you are thinking about adding an external hard drive anyways, you might want to keep an eye out on the Forza & Halo bundles since they come with a 1TB hard drive.

Either I'm getting old, or I'm turning into OldBoy...
I have EA Access, downloaded the trial version of Madden 16, and it's only letting me play the Steelers/Cardinals game. Is that right? If so, how is this early access? It just seems like a standard demo to me.
Again, I may be missing something.
