I was just going to post about this. I just kept adding a bunch of cheap books, before I realized there was like $15 in shipping fees. I understand they were probably losing money on shipping books, I always wondered why books were .96 for a whole order while movies and CDs were .96 each when I'd imagine books were cheaper to ship. But to go right from .96 an order to $3 per order + .99 per item is too extreme. I don't see myself ordering anymore books from them unless they have a sale with free shipping.

Shipping prices for books used to be similar to what it is now not too long ago. The .96 per order was a recent change (in the past year I believe). I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. And when you think about it in comparison to Amazon, it's still a bargain (if you're ordering more than 1).

Anyone with a BnM Hastings Store get a passport card yet? It's apparently their version of a rental store. Anyhow, I found the SF Night of the Demons blu-ray there today about 3 weeks early, when I made my purchase with the card the clerk told me that with the use of the card I'd be receiving a 'save $10 on your next $20 purchase" coupon within 5 to 8 business days.

the movies have be "USED" not "Previously Used" to get the discount.

I always forget what the difference is, but everything in my wish list that was 'USED" had the discount applied. The others didn't.
