I checked out the site last night about 12amHST. I seen the sale but also had no idea what it meant. I put 2 new releases in my cart and notice one title was at the asking price & the other was $1. I said damn great deal. Put every time I hit the "Place Your Order". It came back with a error. Said see the error in red. Only thing in red was the $1 for the used BD title. I tried different tiltles and same problem. I gave up about 1amHST. This morning I tried again the same 2 titles I picked the first time & it worked., Go Figure. So I got Rush & Escape Plan for $23.76

I got Star Trek: TOS seasons 1 and 3 for $34, seems like a pretty good deal considering the best price for the three-season bundle has been double that. Too bad season 2 wasn't in stock.

i got Final Destination 5 in 3D bluray and Charlie Chan box set #3 for $24 (includes shipping). Pretty insane deal, if you ask me. Would be getting more, but funds tapped out now.

I bit on Band of Brothers Blu-ray and Resident Evil Collection Blu-ray for $45.85 used. First time trying GoHastings, going to see how the condition of the discs is, and it's pretty much the same as if I were to buy the REC by itself and I've been looking to get that for some time.

So I ordered Band of Brothers BD and The RE Collection BD used for the $45.85. Received the RE collection today. One case was opened, took the disc out, could not find one fingerprint. It is as if they removed the shrinkwrap but never took the disc out. The other four were SEALED. Even the outer box is in more than decent shape. This was a trial order. So far, very pleased

Yes, I've done a good number of transactions with GoHastings and very rarely do I get something that's really beat up.

Same here. The vast majority of my purchases with them were in great shape (some even new/unopened), and the few clunkers have been more than offset by the great deals.

I have now twice ordered the original Piranha on Blu-ray, and both times instead received the remake. Both times, they refunded me and told me to keep it, but this time it was the $1 item in the BOGO $1, so I'm gonna have to see how much I get refunded, I should get refunded for half of my order. Guess I'm done trying to order the original Piranha from them...

Ha, they still haven't fixed that. The same thing happened to me 2 or 3 times a few years ago.

Very common issue with them, even with re-releases. Ordered the Collector's Edition of Casino Royale and once received the older one and the other time, the regular single disc edition. Returned one, was asked to keep the other. Eventually they sent me the right one on a third order :-)...honestly how much room can you make in your inventory to store everything by SKU ?

They've had the problem for both music and movies since they began selling on the Internet. They always fill rare items with the same title from a more common disc. It's best to avoid the rare releases unless the title is unique.

Why So Blu?

It's only valid on qualifying items. You gotta select from the limited inventory if you wanna get that discount. I was gonna try and get some vinyl but it doesn't qualify.

I clicked on the qualifying titles link and picked a few items and it still does not work. All I get is code is invalid. So I guess the sale has not started yet.
