I know the feeling. It's crazy -- you see a low price and are tempted but ... you don't even like the show that much! I'm fighting the same battle with the WWE's Wrestlemania collection. I just don't see myself even watching much of this -- but it's ALL THE WRESTLEMANIAS!!! Like the wolfman, maybe we should be locked in room until the danger passes (after the 19th), so we don't hurt ourselves and others.

The only difference is that this would fall just shy of Amazon's free shipping. If he got the pricematch at DDD then shipping is free. If he is ordering anything else from Amazon though, it probably is easier to just get it there rather than deal with a PM headache.

I highly recommend it. I bought two during the last sale. It went together very easily and looks great.

I used to have all these smaller (500 or so) DVD racks scattered everywhere, so it will be nice to have everything all lined up on one wall, very uniform. I like that these racks are taller so they use less wall space than a shorter rack.

I ordered two more with this sale so I will be done for DVD storage for a long time. The shelves are adjustable so you can use for CDs also.

Yeah, I must say, if I had a complaint about DDD, it is shipping of large orders. My small orders always come well sealed, and protected. However, when i order around $500 or more, they always seem to come in crappy boxes EXACTLY the size of the DVDs (shipping cost savings I would presume), and since only the DVD are in the box, invariably, one or two are cracked, or smashed on the corners.

This time, I only had one out of 24 box sets in my first order damaged - and not enough that I cared. Last year though, my Farscape was almost completely destroyed.

Better quality larger boxes, and a bit of padding is something i would absolutely be willing to pay for.

DDD matches the shipped price though. So they will charge you the same as it costs from amazon unless you don't have to pay DDD tax while having to pay Amazon tax.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but fortunately I had a way to scratch that itch! My wife loves the show. I can't stand it. So I ordered it for her. I actually got hers through amazon when it was cheap, since amazon meant no tax or handling charge for customs BS. All in all, it works out within $1 if I would've ordered it through DDD.

Though most people seem to like this show, there is a chance you will not. I'd say it is a risk throwing down $110 for something you've never seen. I purchased the first season for $15 a while back and wasn't thrilled with the show. I might give the second season a chance for the right price, but it's definitely not a priority.

Well I ordered last Friday and paid for priority mail, all in stock, but still no package.

In fact I called on Wednesday and they told me it shipped Monday, and then I called again today because it theoretically should be here if one of my neighbors didn't steal it, but now they said it really shipped yesterday. Psyche! on me I guess.... But hey, when you do that much business you won't miss a few non-returning customers.

I'll watch it occasionally on tv, but I'm not a fan. I really just wanna figure out what the hell is going on in the last season or two. But I would only watch it once and probably fast forward some of the episodes. Before blind buying, I would say rent the first disc or two and maybe the first disc or two in a later season as it changed a lot.
