Stopped by the Coon Rapids store to check on Columbia/Tri-Star titles. Nothing I haven't already got, but I found a copy of the Warner two-disc SE of "Dog Day Afternoon" for $4.00.

Figures ![Shrug](/images/smilies/shrug.gif)
I found about 8 copies of Baadasssss!(now that I have it I can spell it correctly) today at BL after someone else has just picked one up for me. I got a copy anyway just in case, and I'll probably be able to help someone out if needed.
Restock included those and 4 or 5 copies of Goodbye Lenin, 2 or 3 Backlot Murders, The Debut, 3-Way, and some other stuff I can't remember.
Still didn't find any copies of Le Dernier Combat or anything else I was hoping to pick up for others here, so I will mail you guys separately in a little while.
While I was there though, I picked up Prince Of Persia: The Two Thrones for the PC for $6 and also Rogue Trooper for $6. Got RT because of nostalgic reasons, as I have all the comic books, but the game probably sux though
, I'm not sure.

I've been looking for Dog Day Afternoon. Today I found Baadasssss (which i'm going to trade in at DVDPlanet), The Debut (looked interesting), and Returner for $2 each.

Finally got a chance to go by there today and they had restocked in a big way - more DVDs than I have ever seen at this BigLots. No Dog Day Afternoon, but I picked up a few of the previously mentioned $2 titles. They also had a lot of the Previously Viewed ones, which were overpriced at $5. You might want to check your local BL.

I saw some two disc sets today packaged side-by-side for $4.00. I didn't know any of the title however, except for a Tori Spelling cheerleader movie that I think was made for the Lifetime channel.

I had to replace the store that's closing with a new one, so I stopped in Derry, and they had a pretty good selection, but nothing new I was looking for.
I almost picked up a copy of John Lennon Imagine for $4, but the UPC was scratched through, can't stand that.
In Amherst I saw a copy of Secret Ballot(this was there last week but I forgot about it), and only one of the other Baadasssss! copies were sold since last week, they still have 6 left.

Found The Loves Of Carmen yesterday for $3.
Ken Cline, you still around? Not sure if you can or if there's anything new to add to your list.
I'm linking to it here, because it's hard to find: Thanks!

Saw Alexander 2 disc version for $4 at my local Big Lots today. I was there looking for games and actually passed on this as I didn't think it would be any better than the one disc version.

Not exactly DVD deal, but I just picked up a TV stand at Big Lots for $130 which is very similar to the Z-line stands at Circuit City for $300+.
I just put it together, and it is a beautiful piece of furniture, my girlfriend likes it better than the ones at CC. The picture doesn't do it justice. If you need a new TV stand, make sure you check it out.

Thanks for the heads up on the TV stand. I didn't find the one you show above, but I found a couple others that may work.
Also, found three DVDs for $2 each, probably listed earlier, but here goes:
The Iron Giant SE
Funland
Deadly Run
Lots and lots of horror titles that weren't there last month or so, several triple feature titles of classic bela lugosi, christopher lee flicks and the like.

Iron Giant SE was $4 but I got it anyway. Must be a YMMV.

I spotted The Iron Giant: SE for $4 yesterday, too, but had picked it up months ago during one of Kroger's 2/$9.99 sales. They also had the original (fullscreen) Chariots Of Fire and several copies of Sandler's Click at $4.
The anime titles are getting extremely scarce now.

My local Big Lots has a ton of cheap B-grade or rather mostly Z-grade horror titles now. I do believe they have about the entire library of titles put out by The Asylum company all for $4 each, along witht he aforementioned triple features and some boxed set double featurs of things. I saw about 20 different Asylum titles.
I picked up the following:
$4 - Lady in the Box
$4 - When a Killer Calls
$4 - Snakes on a Train
$2 - Cut/St. Francisville Experiment double feature

still haven't found any of these movies at my local big lots. sigh.
i did see "far from heaven" for $4.99 and was tempted to get it but it had a HUGE slash through the UPC code. so i decided to hold off on that.

A lot of Asylum stuff showed up at the location near work today, along with a healthy restock of the old $2 titles. I picked up John Woo's Once A Thief (which I had never seen in stores) and Innocence (which I had seen, but kept passing on). Double Vision is the only one I might go back for; I passed on it for now since I wanted to read some reviews first.
