Anyone looking for any of this anime? Lot's of it around my area right now:

Wolf's Rain 2,5
Cowboy Bebop 4,6
Argentosoma 3
Fantastic Children 1,2,4,5
Witch Hunter Robin 1,2
Kaze No Yojimbo 1
Yukikaze 1,2,3
Infinite Ryvius 1,2,4,6
Planetes 3,5
Overman King Gainer 3,4,5
S-Cry-Ed (anime legends) 2,3
Mars Daybreak 1,2,3,5
The Big O 4
Outlaw Star 2
.hack//Legend of the Twilight 1,2

and quite a bit of gundam stuff, but not anything anyone has posted as looking for lately, IIRC.

See my BL exchange thread for what I'm looking for trade if possible:

For under $30 this is an excellent deal!

I just got back from Biglots (on a rainy day here in Lost Angeles)..

This is probably the best deal I got for TV sets, I may not be that familiar with Anime but alongside Heroes and Firefly I grabbed Season 1 & 2 of Zentrix? and 2 copies of Batman and the rest are all regulars.

Surely you're joking about Firefly and Heroes.

Which Big Lots in LA did you go to? Was anything decent left when you left?

Good haul, Xage!

Which Big Lots was it? Were there any more copies of Firefly left? Should I race out that way first thing in the morning?

Thanks.

Dude, Firefly and Heroes for $3 each is amazing. I already own Firefly but for that price I'd buy copies for all my friends. I wouldn't mind owning the Heroes set either...

I'd give "Firefly" a shot for $3, but $3 for "Starship Troopers 2" is far more than anyone should ever have to pay for that travesty.

still going to be hard to believe because they scan the sticker barcode and not the dvd. you just see the digits the barcode spits out on the receipt not the title of the movie.

$3 for Heroes and Firefly. I think someone put the wrong price stickers on them and the poster simply got lucky. I already have both but I'll watch for them. If it's true I'll pick some up for gifts.

I checked Coon Rapids, Brooklyn Center and St. Louis Park stores this morning with my 3 buzz club coupons in hand. Nada. I'm pissed.

None over at my BL. This has gotta be some strange kind of fluke or something. This is quite a deal if you find these sets for $3.

My store had the Zentrix set for $3. I didn't know what the hell that was so I didn't get it though.

Wow...and I thought I got a great deal for Heroes when I got it at Target for $13 after using that coupon. I wonder if Big Lots would take that $6 off coupon? There's also a 20% off coupon you can get at BigLots.com for signing up to their mailing list.

No luck in Bakersfield, CA. They did re-stock since the last time I was in though and I picked up Iron Giant special edition, Dog Day Afternoon 2 disc and saw Falling Down, Dead Calm and a few others.

Saw a season of IGPX and one of Code Lyoko (X.A.N.A. ?)

Nothing spectacular to report in Nebraska. Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, The Squid & the Whale, Mozart and the Whale. Nothing cool like Heroes for $3.

ANYONE had luck finding titles from the recent finds in the SF Bay area? I've been to multiple stores in the Bay area an no luck.

I'm particularly interested in any Bay-area sightings of:

Blue Submarine No. 6 3 disc SE box
Cowboy BeBop 4, 6
Gidget Collection
Heroes: Season 1
Sin City

(anyone found and snatched up these in other areas of the country...?)

If anyone hits up a Big Lots and finds a Firefly send me a message and I'll pay you to pick one up for me. I've check the ones here in Fresno a number of times and we never get anything cool at the ones here.

I hate Serenity ( Xage's Rant to Serenity link ) nor Im a fan of TV shows, I just bought it because there is nothing to loose for $3. I think the 2 seasons of Zentrix boxset are a better deal with its good looking "digipack" than the 2 mentioned.

Sorry, I think what I got were the last ones. Infact I got late in getting it there. There were some folks who got like more than 1 copy of the boxsets before me.

The Biglot store is located in the corner of Jefferson & Sepulveda (exit Jefferson in 405 south) the store is near LAX, but if you wish to go thee, as far as I remember there were few more animes and the Zentrix season box is still there (but with broken case).

Who said my post is intended for others to believe. And besides, its pretty obvious you have no clue about receipts from Biglots. The receipt doesnt state titles only a bunch of numbers generated.

And who in the blue hell are you for the xage to provide a scanned receipt Oh Wait! You are that dude who thought it was suspicious when a customer gets a boatload of bargain stuff ( Sandman007 is suspicious link ). I wouldnt waste my time proving something especially to a memebr who cant accept reality if someone beats him to a bargain.
