Finally......
bulk of the 1st order arrived today/ 17 titles shipped June 17th
Also got today the Saw trilogy shipped june 25th and the Ed Wood collection set shipped out the 24th.
I'm happy.

I know it probably has to do with proximity, but my second order (shipped June 26) showed up on Monday in a nice sturdy box. Not a padded envelope, not mangled in the mail. My first order-ironically-started showing up yesterday. Two BD's, again in a box. Maybe I'm lucky.

I really can't understand why some people order from DDD, year after year, only to complain when there is a hitch. There are sometimes shipping issues with all companies as well as with the USPS and instant gratification is not to be expected.
Over the years the one constant about this company is that they make things right if or when there is a problem.
Personally, I think some of you like to have something to complain about but that's just my opinion!

its like christmas over. 3 days in a row with goodies!
today , got 1 dvd shipped june 28 (back ordered from 1st BIG order june17th
and also 3 dvd's from 2nd order (also shipped the 28th)
for me, it seems that dvd's sent by themselves were in the sturdy single boxes.
Box sets, or multi dvd sets were shipped in boxes (Ed wood collection, saw trilogy)
orders of 4 titles or more, were sent in boxes.
2-3 discs mailed at a time seem to be what was sent in those bubble envelopes; for me anyway.
p.s. just realized that i forgot to order Halloween blu-ray. thought i did.

So, for the first time in at least 5 years, I did not get anything at this sale. The BDs I wanted (Superbad, Ratatouille, etc) were priced too high, even after the discount.

Well the 7/2 delivery window for my 18th order came and went and still no sign of them. Makes me wonder when the rest will get here if this one can't find it's way home.

my first box with 10 dvds came in today. All the disc seem to be fine, but I hear a rattling in my welcome to the nhk box, so I'm going to have to open it up.

Right so the disc was in one place and the hub was flying around. The disc is undamaged, but the hub is gone. Im not sure if I want to replace it or not. Maybe i'll see if I can find a few extra dvd cases to fix the problem.
