Disney Movie Club part 5

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5
Hey. Is this club worth being apart of? I actually was a member a couple years ago. But all I remember was how much of a hassle it was to fulfill the commitment. So for all the current members...is it worth it? Are the prices reasonable? Do they offer alot of B1 get one a certain percent off? Are the shipping rates ridiculous like Columbia House? How quickly did everyone finish their commitment and did they save money?

^ That's up to you to decide. After reading through the last few pages of posts in this thread where all the things you're asking about have been discussed, what do you think?

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5
OK... 2 of the previously "dead" enrollment codes are alive again and are "standard" 6/3 types:
979001 - 5/$1, free s/h w/CC (no CC, $1.99 each/free s/h), b1 @ $14.95 to get 6/3
908001 - 5/$1, free s/h w/CC (no CC, $1.99 each/free s/h), b1 @ $14.95 to get 6/3
BUT!!! THE 7/2 CODE APPEARS TO BE BACK!
978283 - 5/$1, free s/h w/CC (no CC, $.99 each/free s/h), b1 @ $14.95 to get 6/3, b1 @ $9.95 to get 7/2!
So, it's time to sign up again. BUT... I can't find Zorro Season 2, v1 and Season 2, v2 (?!?). This is very odd as they just became available a couple of months ago and were available for enrollment titles before all the codes died.
Would someone with a current membership please check and see if these are available after enrollment.
Thanks!
I should add that the enrollment selections appear to be very limited with the reactivation of good codes.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5
BobO'Link, thanks for trying those old codes! I just got my shipment from fulfilling my last account. I probably could have gotten a better deal on a few items if I had waited for a 60%-off code, but I was afraid the party was over with the good enrollment codes not working anymore.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5
Thanks for posting! I went ahead and jumped on the 7/2 deal even though I could not get 1 and 2 as enrollments. After seeing the much smaller list of enrollment titles I decided they would be there after signing up. I was a bit disapointed in the enrollment selections as I was wanting to pick up a "going in the vault" selection for enrollment. They only have the crappy ones. You have to sign up to get the better going OOP titles.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5
Thank you BobO'Link for the 7/2 code. I signed up yesterday. I can access the site, but everything is "On Hold" and I still haven't received an email or call from Disney. I assume this is normal, but I have a question. The FAQ says the introductory package will take 3-4 weeks to receive and all other orders will take 7-10 days. If I were to place an order now, would it not be processed/sent until after the introductory package? I mostly joined for things like the Treasures, so I wanted to be able to order those quickly in case they sell out.

Oh well, I'll just use 'em as fulfillments as soon as a Free S/H offer comes along.

This code was an unadvertised reactivation of an old sale code, and it only lasted for a few days. It stacked with free shipping from ordering the 101 Dalmatians 2-pack Director's Selection (which would also be your non-discountable item at $35).
I don't expect to see that code come back.

Ok, got approved for the 7:2 code. But it appears I can only get to the new site. Is there a place for "offer codes" like in the old site? Or, is there no way of getting "alternate/manual entered" offers.

When I log in, on the right side of the top banner (currently showing "Save 50% on Additional Movies When You Buy 2 at Regular Price) there is a link for "Other Offers". It is under the "Help/FAQ" /"Terms" links. My only other offer right now is 15% off.

Tried that link already - the page doesn't list any other offers. My default offer is b1 get 25% off add'l titles.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5
I received a shipping notification for the introductory order, and my first order a couple days later is processing. My commitment page hasn't been updated to reflect either yet, but I now have the "Save 60%" VIP offer banner. It ends 2/9. So I'm wondering:
a)Will this offer be good for as many orders as I feel like placing through 2/9?
b)How many items are you normally able to buy at once with this offer before you run into trouble with cancellations/delays?

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5
Edit: Sorry, misread your original question. No, I haven't seen any place for entering an offer code.
