I got the email right after upgrading, same day with the $10 blu ray email.

Can anyone direct me to a complete list of the DMC lenticular cards? I've Googled and searched this forum (as well as that on ultimatedisney.com) and I keep getting bits and pieces--and a lot of eBay auction listings. I even looked at the thread on this forum dedicated to lenticular covers, and the only discussion of these cards there was a dispute over what constituted a lenticular cover. Here's what I have found so far:

101 Dalmations - Platinum Edition
101 Dalmations II: Patch's London Adventure - Special Edition
Air Buddies
The Aristocats - Special Edition
Bambi II
Bridge to Terabithia
Brother Bear

I upgraded a few hours ago and still no email. You say you got yours right away? Was there any advertisement for that offer on the website when you upgraded? I didn't see one.

I never received an email when I upgraded. I ended up clicking on an "Other Offers" link. The deal showed up there and I just clicked around the box until it worked. Hope this works for you!

Sorry, I meant a few days I think less than a week after I upgrade. No $60 blu-ray offer on the member website, only offer for $10 one.

Thanks stevai, that helps clear things up. I'll wait a few days and hopefully it'll show up!

When I click "other offers" it goes to a page that tells me to click any of the below offers. However I don't see any offers, it's just blank below that. Maybe I'm too late?

EDIT: Just checked again today and the $10 blu-ray offer has appeared. Yes!

The price would have to be $29.95 or less - based on Bold & other recent ones, that won't happen soon - it'll probably be $30+ to start with.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

When I called about the 3 blu-rays for $60 deal, they went ahead and did it for me and even included a non-eligible title (Bolt.) I have to say, I'm once again impressed with the helpfulness of their cast members.

The titles counted towards my fulfillment so I guess I'm free to cycle. However, looking at the enrollment titles, I wasn't too excited. I feel like the titles were loads better a few months back (Peter Pan, Sword in the Stone, Toy Story 1 and 2, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Spirited Away.) So I'll probably keep this account for awhile because I know for sure that I need to fill out my Ghibli/Miyazaki collection.

So how are the coupons for VIPs? Are there special offers for fulfilled accounts?

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

^Some of the enrollment titles you mention are OOP (back in the vault)... but you're correct about enrollment titles. They are not very good right now.

I'm not as impressed with Disney as with CH as far as "special offers" go, especially after the site redisign and the inability to enter your own code. I don't recall anything better than your average deal after my last time as a VIP member. Even the "special offer" after fulfilling an account was lame. Again comparing to CH... I think part of the problem is that you're limited to Disney only titles which really reduces the value of a membership. Once you've collected the titles in which you're interested there's very little to keep you around and even then it seems that 50% of the titles can be regularly purchased at other venues for less than the average cost of a cycled account at Disney.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

Yeah. Maybe I'll try again in a few months to see if they add any good enrollment titles. *sigh*

My blu-rays came today (exactly a week after ordering which was very nice) but they sent me the wrong Wall-E. The woman and I had gone back and forth on which edition I wanted and though I thought she had it right, I guess there was a mix-up. I wanted the 3-Disc as opposed to the 2-Disc and the problem was that both were listed on the site as $29.95 but were different prices in her system.

I guess I'll ship it off tomorrow and then give them a call to find out how soon I can expect the replacement. Still a good deal but I was so looking forward to watching.

I had to exchange a movie also, I mailed it at the end of March, Yesterday I hadn't recieved my replacment yet so I called them and they told me it could take 4-6 weeks from when they recieved the item back. Funny thing though, a couple hours after I got off the phone with them I got a e-mail saying they were processing my exchange.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

Dang, I just placed an order for 4 DVDs using the current B1 + G1 25% offer so I could fulfill my commitment, and they only counted 1 as a fulfillment, even though 3 of them were over $19.95 after discount. That stinks. I thought for sure they would, especially since Souzou's 3-for-$60 Blu-Rays counted as fulfillment, and cheato was saying they'll usually count anything over $19.95, even though it's against policy.

Wonder if I should call? Not sure how I would really dispute it since it IS policy, but I probably would have rather paid full price and fulfilled then get the discount.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

Hi, Im new at this whole thing, but I was wondering if there is someplace that all the active codes are compiled. So I can see what is the best code to use, when it comes to price per dvd at the end of the agreement. Thanks so much.

I just signed up with this initial offer code and it works. 5 DVDS for $1, plus free shipping:

979001

Without a code the normal offer is 4 movies for $1.99, so this is a little better deal.

How long has it been since you placed the order & it shipped vs. you looking to see what counted towards fulfillment? I had to wait 7+ days before my shipped order showed against commitment.

Don't think so, but the *best* code is 978283 which is a true 7/2 code.

Offer details:
By agreeing to purchase at least 4 regular-priced movies in the next 24 months, you qualify to receive 5 Disney DVDs of your choice from the list of titles currently available from the Disney Movie Club for $0.99 each. Shipping and processing is free. Save even more when you sign up with a credit card, and pay just $1.00 total. Please allow 2-4 weeks to receive your first shipment.

YOU MAY ALSO TAKE A 6TH DVD NOW AT THE SPECIAL PRICE OF JUST $14.95. PLUS YOU PAY NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING AND PROCESSING CHARGE. This Bonus Movie will even count towards your purchase commitment, so you'll only need to purchase 3 more movies in the next 24 months instead of 4.

PLUS YOU CAN SAVE EVEN MORE by selecting a 7TH DVD NOW FOR the special price of JUST $9.95 AND STILL PAY NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING AND PROCESSING CHARGE. This Bonus Movie will also count towards your purchase commitment, so you'll only need to purchase 2 more movies in the next 24 months instead of 4.

Thanks for that info, it cleared up some interesting activity on DMC. I checked my account yesterday and they had added a second DVD as counting towards my commitment. Great! But then, today I checked again, and they added yet another, so a total of 3 DVDs were in fact counted towards my commitment, the only one excluded was of course the title less than $19.95. Awesome!

Wow, I wish I would have known about that code, last I heard the 7th DVD for $9.99 did NOT count towards fulfillment, is this something new? I guess it's just as well though, since right now their introductory title selection is kind of disappointing, I would rather pay for better fulfillment titles after joining.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

Regarding the $10 Blu ray upgrade, you may notice that some titles don't apply such as Pinnocchio, which is the main one I wanted. So, I called and was able to get it for $10. Just thought I'd let others know in case they are interested.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

Has anyone gotten a free shipping (when you buy 2 or more) offer since the new site opened? I opened a membership with the 7:2 code in November, and I've been waiting on a free shipping offer to fulfill, and I haven't seen one. Should I just give up? What's the next best way to fulfill? I know some people have been able to fulfill with some of the Blu-ray deals lately, but I don't do Blu yet.

^Give it time. In the past it seemed as if there were one about once per quarter but, like you, I've notice the same drought of FS offers. The last one I remember was in September '08 when I fulfilled my old account. I'm not in too much of a hurry as I still have over a year and a half to fulfill and there are not enough titles I'm truly interested in to warrant cycling an account right now.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

Even if you're not ready for Blu-ray, one thing to keep in mind is that recently the Disney classics released on Blu-ray also contain a standard dvd in the package.

I don't have a blu-ray player yet myself but this option gives me the ability to watch the movie now and not have to purchase a title a second time when I do eventually own a blu-ray player. Especially useful if they go back in the vault before I upgrade.

Of course, you may not be in the club to fill out your Disney/Pixar animated collection but its a good thing to consider.
