According to my account history page, it was around December 10th, although I don't know when it ended.

I am having trouble remembering if my last order was placed before or during said promotion...since I was charged shipping(I used 801490).
It was about a week before Inception dvd/BD release date. I picked up Inception BD as a buy one and got two dvds free with free shipping. I haven't seen a free shipping since.

EDIT: I thought it was after 12/10/10 but it wasn't. I made the ordered on 12/10.

Wasn't there free shipping this past weekend? I didn't get FS with 801490 though.

Yes there was but the FS didn't stack with the 801490 code.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

If you buy a blu-ray of at least the minimum club requirement of $19.95 it works to get a free dvd. With $1.99 total shipping for both. I'm gonna pass on it myself today.

This seems to be the new standard "deal". I'll wait to fulfill my latest account until they have a "free ship on everything" and stack it with the B1G1F code.

I put in a couple and price didn't jump. The only one I remember was Red in BD was $20.97, which was weird because the DVD SE was about $2 more

It seemed like it was a lot (all?) of the pre-order titles. I usually sort by "most recent first", so it was a shock when I saw the first 50 or so jump like that.

Well, you sure tested more than I did. I did a couple of pre-orders as well and the price didn't jump. So it is possibly the type of account.

I think the 801490 code is a better deal, for $4 more you can get anther dvd.

They all seem to have settled back to reasonable price-points. I think it was just a temporary glitch.

I wonder what I'd get if they hated me?

Columbia House if you are watching we need a free shipping offer ASAP. And if you start allowing BOGO on Blu-Rays, we'll buy a lot and everyone will be happy.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

801490 - "Get up to 2 Free DVDs for each qualifying purchase of $19.95 or higher!"

Banner says B1G1, but the cart is B1G2. Only one set though -- doesn't work to get four free with two qualifying purchases. Might be good to fulfill an account. Not free shipping, but with a blu-ray qualifier, you can get a blu-ray and two free DVDs. Not the best deal ever, but pretty decent. Order seemed to go through just fine.

Don't know if that means this promo is coming and maybe will work as a true B1G2, instead of just buy 1 get 2.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Seems to work as standard B1G2 + shipping. However, the pricing right now is....interesting. If you sort the top 50 DVDs, their prices are all $22.95 or higher. The corresponding Blu-ray versions are all less.

This means it's tough to use a Blu-ray as qualifier, as a higher priced DVD will trump the BD in your cart, and of course, the BD can't be free. I guess if you dig deep you can find some crappy titles for your "freebies", but if you sell the free DVDs like I do, it will be tough to break even.

Edit: Never mind. The prices all just dropped to 50% off.

This is actually an old code that still works. This code will only work once on some accounts. I have an account where it only worked once and I have another account where it worked multiple times.

That's a negative, at least on my accounts. CH counts the list price of a Blu-ray, not the 40% discounted price. A $20.97 Blu-ray will be the qualifier because the list price is $34.95. The $22.95 DVDs should count as the freebies.
